<p><a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/porsche/">Porsche India</a> sold a total of 489 units in the first six months of 2024 (January to June), representing a remarkable 40% growth over the same time last year.&nbsp;The Cayenne and Macan contributed to the SUV surge, with 306 units sold.&nbsp;The 911 sports coupe also added to the highest-ever H1 sales, selling 93 units.&nbsp;Porsche's rivaling German brands, <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/bmw/">BMW</a> and <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/mercedes-benz/">Mercedes-Benz</a>,&nbsp;also disclosed their H1 2024 sales figures for India earlier this month.&nbsp;The former delivered 7,098 cars between January to June, registering a 21% increase,&nbsp;while the latter sold 9,262 vehicles, which was a 9% growth.&nbsp;</p>

Porsche India Registers 40% Sales Growth in First Six Months of 2024

<p>With 771bhp at its disposal, the new Porsche Panamera&nbsp;Turbo S E-Hybrid can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds before reaching 325km/h. But, it doesn't end there.&nbsp;In addition to being more powerful and fast, the new&nbsp;Turbo S E-Hybrid offers&nbsp;faster charging times and&nbsp;a better electric range. It uses a&nbsp;25.9kWh hybrid battery with 45 per cent more energy than before. Using an&nbsp;11kW onboard AC charger, the vehicle can be fully charged in&nbsp;2 hours and 39 minutes.&nbsp;</p>

The new derivative is a high-performance model that fits perfectly into the versatile line-up,”</p>

<p>Porsche calculated the results of the testing and came to the conclusion that the prototypes could be driven up to 70% more efficiently on electricity than the previous model. As a result, a new dual-clutch, eight-speed automatic transmission (PDK) with a more powerful electric motor will be fitted to all E-Hybrid vehicles. A 25.9kWh battery pack will provide power for the e-motor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The German company asserts that even though the new hybrids' batteries are bigger, they would charge more quickly due to a new 11kW onboard charger. The current six-cylinder PHEV vehicles only come equipped with a 3.6kW charger, though a 7.4 kW charger is available.</p>
