<p>Sharing his thoughts on the sales,&nbsp;Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India said 'While the supply situation in Q2 2024 has improved compared to Q1, 2024; it still played a limiting factor on our sales performance.&nbsp;We are confident that our supplies will normalize during the second half of this year and we will be able to better serve customer demand.'</p>

<p>He further added 'It is important to emphasize that demand remains strong across our vast product portfolio&nbsp;and we are very optimistic about long-term growth of luxury mobility in India, including this year.'</p>

<p>In May, Audi launched the Bold Edition of its flagship Q7 SUV in India for Rs 97.84 lakh (ex-showroom).&nbsp;The special version costs Rs 3.4 lakh more than the SUV's top-ranging version, the Q7 Technology.&nbsp;It is available in four color options: Navarra Blue, Glacier White, Mythos Black, and Samurai Grey.&nbsp;It comes with a Black design package which consists of blacked-out 'Audi'&nbsp;emblems on the front and back and&nbsp;a shiny black coating on the grille.&nbsp;The SUV has blacked-out window borders, ORVMs, and roof rails.&nbsp;It also is equipped with 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels with an option for dual-tone paint.&nbsp;On the inside, the edition remains unchanged. The current starting price for the Q3 is Rs 44.89 lakh, while the introductory cost of the Q3 Sportback is Rs 51.43 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. In a recent development, Audi announced a 1.6% price increase, effective from May 1 on these cars. The luxury automaker also reported a 2.4% price hike on a few other models. <p>The Q3 Sportback resembles its SUV counterpart in terms of design and styling, with the exception of a sportier honey-comb pattern grille, blacked-out exterior elements, and, of course, the sloping roofline, which lends the car a striking&nbsp;appearance. <p>Coming to the powertrain of the SUV, the Audi Q3 Sportback is presently&nbsp;available in a variety of petrol and diesel engine configurations worldwide. However, because Audi India will only sell the petrol version&nbsp;of the car in India, the coupe SUV will be powered by a TFSI engine. The standard <a href="https://www.autox.com/videos/2022-audi-q3-review-the-best-entry-level-luxury-suv-first-drive-autox-111932/">Q3 SUV</a> is currently&nbsp;powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 188bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 320Nm of peak torque. The same engine is also available in global markets with the Q3 Sportback. Nevertheless, we believe Audi will introduce the more powerful 2.0-litre 45 TFSI version, which churns out&nbsp;a maximum power of 241bhp&nbsp;with 370Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to an automatic transmission as standard.</p>

<p>The interior of the car will be identical to that of the standard Q3, with a similar layout and darker trim with sportier accents.&nbsp;The same 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the Audi user interface present in the <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/car-news/2022-audi-q3-launched-in-india-at-rs-4489-lakh-details-here-111476/">Q3 SUV</a>&nbsp;will be included with the upcoming Q3 Sportback. The unit includes MMI navigation, an Audi smartphone interface, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, among other things. Other features could include a wireless charging pad, 30-colour ambient lighting, LED headlights, the Audi Virtual Cockpit, electrically adjustable seats, dual-zone climate control, a 10-speaker audio system, and more.</p>

<p>It's most likely that the new Audi Q3 Sportback will be positioned above <a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/car-reviews/2022-audi-q3-review-first-drive-111923/">the Q3 SUV</a>. The upcoming vehicle is expected to cost more than Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). Two different variants of the model are expected&nbsp;to be offered. Once launched,&nbsp;the Q3 Sportback is going to compete against the Volvo XC40, the BMW X1, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Audi recently announced a 4.187 unit increase in retail sales in India, or a 27.14 per cent increase, for 2022. Audi Q3 Sportback SUV India Launch Confirmed, Here's What to Expect

Audi India is gearing up to launch its first vehicle for 2023. A new SUV with a coupe-like body style, most likely the new Q3 Sportback, has been teased by the luxury automaker. The all-new Q3 Sportback is based on the standard Q3, launched in August last year.

<p><strong><em>Touted&nbsp;as Audi's first-ever compact crossover, the Q3 Sportback adds a dash of sportiness&nbsp;to an otherwise sensible and no-nonsense Q3.</em></strong></p>

<p>All leading carmakers tend&nbsp;to get bitten by the 'Sportback' bug every now and then. Lamborghini went on to give its debut SUV a sloping roofline, while the <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/car-news/2019-bmw-x6-makes-global-debut-106210/">BMW X6</a> triggered Porsche to give its flagship SUV a&nbsp;similar treatment. However, these are all full-size crossovers. Audi has decided to give its compact SUV the crossover treatment&nbsp;by introducing the Q3 Sportback - a hunkered down, sportier version of the practical Q3, with a sloping roofline &amp; a roof edge spoiler.</p>

At the back too, the Q3 Sportback receives a healthy dose of dynamic&nbsp;upgrades, thanks to a sculpted profile brought&nbsp;about by a new bumper and diffuser.</p>

<p>At the time of its launch in Europe, Audi will offer the Q3 Sportback with 2.0-litre petrol &amp; diesel engine choices. The 2.0-litre TFSI engine will produce 227bhp while the 2.0-litre TDI motor will be good for 148bhp. Both options will be driven by Audi's&nbsp;S-Tronic&nbsp;gearbox but the diesel derivative won't offer Quattro AWD. Audi will expand the powertrain line-up post the lanch, with an entry-level petrol-hybrid and a more powerful diesel option. The Quattro models will also get a manual transmission option.</p>

<p>The Q3 Sportback will go on sale in Europe sometime in the final quarter of 2019.</p>
