The rugged spirit of the Renault 4&nbsp;EV hatch has taken shape in the form of the Savane 4X4 Concept. The show car is designed for the modern-day 'gentleman explorer, which means it targets adventurous and style-conscious drivers who prefer both off-road ability and refined design. It keeps the&nbsp;Renault 4's design while introducing several key enhancements, the most significant of which is perhaps a dual&nbsp;electric motor powertrain. The addition of&nbsp;a second electric motor on the rear axle enables a full-time all-wheel drive.

 As of now, the French automaker hasn't shared details on the battery pack used in the concept. Industry reports, however, suggest that the&nbsp;Savane 4X4 Concept may have the same 52kWh unit found in the standard version. Other design elements are robust side skirts, glossy black flared wheel arches, and a rear bumper.&nbsp;

 Compared to the standard Renault 4 E-Tech, the Savane 4X4 Concept gets 15mm higher ground clearance. It is also fitted with Goodyear&nbsp;UltraGrip Performance+ 225/55 tyres mounted on 18-inch ''Savane'' wheels.
