<h2>BMW R 1300 GS</h2>

<p>The R 1300 GS was supposed to make its premiere towards the end of last year, but it appears that <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bmw/">BMW</a> had to reschedule the&nbsp;launch timeline.&nbsp;The flagship&nbsp;ADV from BMW Motorrad will now likely arrive on the market&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;end of May. The German bikemaker&nbsp;currently offers the R 1250 GS&nbsp;in India for Rs 20.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The model&nbsp;has been well-received among Indian bike enthusiasts.&nbsp;However, it is expected&nbsp;that the R 1300 will step it up a notch when it comes to&nbsp;features, hardware, engine, and design.&nbsp;It will&nbsp;feature&nbsp;a bigger 1300cc boxer engine, a redesigned headlight, and a slimmer silhouette. The&nbsp;motor&nbsp;develops 145bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 149Nm of peak torque. On the transmission front, a six-speed gearbox will be&nbsp;on offer.</p>

For braking duties, the bike will have discs both at the front and the rear. Although there will be a dual-channel anti-lock braking system, it is not yet known if it will be switchable. Moreover, to shield the underbelly from harsh speed breakers, the test mule was also equipped with a bash plate.</p>

Not only that, but the bikemaker launched the much-awaited new Himalayan at its annual motorcycle festival — MotoVerse in Goa and put rumours to rest by confirming the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, another highly anticipated model in its range. The local bike manufacturer plans to increase its Indian lineup in 2024 by adding more models in various categories. <p>Talking of the production-spec variant, the Shotgun 650 includes a rounded headlamp with a unique nacelle, chopped fenders, twin blacked-out peashooter exhausts, LED lighting, and more. A new in-app feature called Wingman, which lets you quickly and conveniently check vital information like battery life, fuel level, engine on/off status, and servicing warnings, is also included with the bike. Though Royal Enfield hasn't announced the specific details, it's expected that the Scram 650 and the Interceptor 650 will have a similar architecture, with a few exceptions. The upcoming motorcycle is anticipated to sport block-pattern tyres&nbsp;and spoked wheels, as evidenced by previous spy images. Additionally, the front forks are upside-down, compared to the telescopic&nbsp;ones on the Interceptor, while a two-spring suspension still supports the rear.&nbsp;It will reportedly distinguish itself&nbsp;from the other 650cc models with its two-into-one exhaust unit.</p>
