Last month, Royal Enfield sold 73,117 units overall. Meanwhile, in July 2023, the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer sold a total of 67,265 units.
Compared to over 1.50 lakh units sold during the same period previous fiscal year, Royal Enfield's year-to-date sales grew by 2% to about 1.53 lakh units between April and May 2024.
The Shotgun 650, which ranges in price from Rs 3.59 lakh to Rs 3.73 lakh, went on sale at the beginning of the year. Both prices are ex-showroom figures. In the upcoming months, the firm will launch the Bobber 350, the Scram 450, the Roadster 450, and the Scrambler 650.
Royal Enfield reported a 4 per cent increase in domestic sales at 70,556 units in January 2024, while it sold 67,702 units in the same period a year ago.
Royal Enfield's total sales (domestic + exports) dipped by 7 per cent at 63,387 units last month compared to 68,400 units in December 2022.
Domestic sales were up 14 per cent last month to 75,137 units compared to 65,760 units in November 2022, while exports grew by a marginal 2 per cent to 5,114 units.
