<p>While the&nbsp;S1 X 4kWh is based on the same&nbsp;Gen 2 EV platform as other S1 X variants, it tips the scales at 112 kilograms, 4kg more than the S1 X with a 3kWh lithium-ion battery. A&nbsp;sprint&nbsp;from 0 to 40km/h takes 3.3 seconds, and the top speed is 90km/h. The scooter takes 6 hours&nbsp;30 minutes to be fully charged. Three riding modes are on offer: Eco, Normal, and Sports.</p>

<p>Coming to the other three, the&nbsp;S1 X+ and the S1 X 3kWh have an IDC-claimed range of 151km&nbsp;and 143km, respectively, on a single charge.&nbsp;Meanwhile, the entry-level S1 X uses a 2kWh lithium-ion battery pack&nbsp;with an IDC-claimed range of 95 kilometres on a single charge. The top speed is marked at 85km/h.</p>

The electric two-wheeler market share of the company presently stands at 30 per cent. As of now, Ola sells five electric scooters in India. Three new models—the S1 Air, the S1 Pro Gen2, and the S1 X—were rolled out last month in three distinct trim levels. The three variants range in price from Rs 90,000 to Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom), giving buyers options at various pricing points. <h2>Move OS 4 Update</h2>

<p>The manufacturer&nbsp;has unveiled the new MoveOS version for its electric scooter, describing it as the most significant software update to date. In its fourth edition, MoveOS 4 will include a slew of new features. Concert mode, for example, is an extension of MoveOS 3's Party mode. When in Party mode, the lights on the electric scooters sync with the music playing through the scooters. According to the Bengaluru-based brand's site, the new functionalities will be available starting today.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But that's not all. Ola has also improved the moods of the scooters. Moods are essentially different computer display home screens. The scooter's acceleration sound changes depending on the rider's settings. There are presently three mood options available: light, dark, and auto. All Ola S1 scooters currently have the OS 3 software loaded, which provides a range of useful functions like as music control, call and SMS notifications, and themes, among others. Ola has included the final versions of the proximity lock/unlock and hill hold for the S1 e-scooter with the MoveOS 4 release.</p>

<h2>Ola S1 X: Battery and Performance Figures</h2>

<p>Three Ola S1 X variants will be available: S1 X+ (3kWh), S1 X (3kWh), and S1 X (2kWh), with prices starting at Rs 1.10 lakh, Rs 99,999, and Rs 89,999, respectively. <p>According to Ola, the S1 X has the same drivetrain as the S1 Air, which includes a hub motor with a 6.03bhp&nbsp;rating and a top speed of 90km/h. The S1 Air makes the same acceleration claims, which equate to 0–40km/h in 3.3 seconds. All of these figures are applicable to the S1 X's higher two versions, which come with the 3kWh battery pack.&nbsp;Due to the revised frame that has been employed here, the S1 X, which is built on Ola's new 'Gen 2' e-scooter platform, also receives a flat floorboard.</p>

The true range in Eco mode has increased from 170-kilometre to 180-kilometre, while the certified range has increased from 181-kilometre to 195-kilometre. The 6.5-hour charging time from 0 to 100 per cent doesn't change.</p>

<p>All three S1 X models may be reserved starting today, with top-spec S1 X+ deliveries expected to start by September-end. However, the lower two variants won't be available to customers until December.</p>

<h2>MoveOS 04 Software</h2>

<p>A new update for Ola Electric's S1 line of electric scooters was recently announced. The manufacturer has also rolled out the new MoveOS software together with the new electric scooters. The MoveOS 4 is going to introduce a host of new features in its fourth edition. One such feature, called Concert mode, is an extension of MoveOS 3's Party mode. When in Party mode, the electric scooter's lights synchronise with the music being played through the scooters.
