Suzuki Gixxer

Six Suzuki models – Gixxer, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF, Gixxer SF 250, V-Strom SX, and Avenis – are now available on Flipkart, with sales officially starting today.

The bookings for the 2025 iteration of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 have commenced, with deliveries expected to start soon.

It’s no secret that 180 to 250cc motorcycles are fast gaining popularity in India. In fact, in the foreseeable future, this class of motorcycles may soon take over from the 150-180cc segment. Suzuki has been late to join the quarter-litre party – it launched the Gixxer SF 250 only in May this year.

Powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder motor, the new Suzuki Gixxer now gets fuel injection and ABS. Suzuki has also given the 2019 iteration new styling cues and additional features.

Suzuki has officially announced that the 2018 season of Gixxer Cup will commence from July 5 at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. The selection process for the riders who will race at this year’s Gixxer Cup will be conducted on July 2, again at Kari Motor Speedway. 

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) equipped version of the Gixxer. The naked Gixxer gets ABS around 10 months after its fully faired twin – the Gixxer SF - was launched with this safety feature.

The Gixxer Cup finale saw a lot of tight racing and chasing at the Buddh International Circuit. Joseph Matthew of Coimbatore warded-off a spirited challenge from the defending champion Sachin Chaudhary, of Ahmedabad, to clinch the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer Cup Championship.
