<h2>Kia Seltos</h2>

<p>Compared to 10,698 units sold in August 2023,&nbsp;the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/kia/seltos/">Seltos</a> SUV sold 6,536 units the previous month, showing a 38.90% year-on-year decrease.&nbsp;The Seltos features various powertrain options,&nbsp;including 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-litre turbodiesel,&nbsp;and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol.&nbsp;It costs between Rs 10.90 lakh and 20.37 lakh (all ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder</h2>

<p>The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/toyota/urban-cruiser-hyryder/">Hyryder</a> saw the highest YoY growth among the top five best-selling models,&nbsp;at 58.55%. It sold 6,534 units last month, up from 4,121 units sold&nbsp;in August 2023.&nbsp;The Toyota model has two petrol powertrain options (a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid) and is priced between&nbsp;Rs 11.14 lakh and Rs 20.19 lakh. <p>Although its sales increased year-on-year (YoY), <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/toyota/">Toyota</a>&nbsp;suffered&nbsp;a slight&nbsp;month-on-month (MoM) sales decline from July this year, when it sold 31,656 passenger cars – a record for the Japanese automaker since it entered India in terms of monthly sales. The carmaker&nbsp;has sold&nbsp;over 2.12 lakh units in the country&nbsp;since the beginning of the year.&nbsp;In comparison to the same quarter last year, Toyota&nbsp;sold 97,867 cars&nbsp;between April and July this year, indicating&nbsp;a 35% surge in sales.</p>

<p>While the majority of the auto sector is experiencing a decline&nbsp;in overall demand, Toyota&nbsp;believes that the festive&nbsp;season will help in bringing back things on track. Sabari Manohar, Vice-President of the Sales-Service-Used Car Business, at Toyota Motor, said, 'As we approach the festive season, demand for our products remains buoyant, and we are already witnessing increased consumer interest and higher footfall across all our dealerships.'&nbsp;Additionally, he stated that the company's SUV and MPV range is witnessing a boost in&nbsp;sales because tier-2 and tier-3 markets prefer&nbsp;these two model categories.</p>

<p>Out of all the on-sale&nbsp;Toyota models, the Innova Hycross hybrid MPV is the most in-demand, particularly the potent hybrid version. Toyota reopened reservations for the ZX and ZX (O) models with self-charging powerful hybrid electric powertrains this year after putting them on hold for a few months. Commenting on the market demand and waiting period, Manohar said, 'With streamlined production and an enhanced supply chain, we've successfully reduced the waiting period, allowing us to commence bookings for the top-end grades. Additionally, an increased supply of Urban Cruiser Hyryder has also enabled us to meet the market demand leading to a reduced waiting period.'</p>

<h2>Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor</h2>

<p>The Urban Cruiser Taisor is the Japanese carmaker's&nbsp;latest model in the&nbsp;Indian market.&nbsp;The compact SUV, which was developed as a result of the Toyota-Suzuki collaboration, is essentially the same&nbsp;as the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/maruti-suzuki/fronx/">Maruti Suzuki&nbsp;Fronx</a>, except&nbsp;for a few minor cosmetic and interior tweaks.&nbsp;The car&nbsp;is offered with two engine options: a 1.2-litre four-cylinder K-series petrol engine&nbsp;and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit. The former produces 88.5bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 113Nm of peak torque, while&nbsp;the latter generates 98.6bhp of power&nbsp;and 147.6Nm of maximum torque.&nbsp;A CNG variant (76.44bhp&nbsp;and 98.5Nm) is also on offer. The gearbox options include&nbsp;a five-speed AMT, a five-speed manual, and a six-speed torque converter automatic.&nbsp;The pricier models with the turbo-petrol engine are being offered at around Rs 65,000 off, while&nbsp;the less powerful 1.2-litre petrol engine models&nbsp;are significantly less discounted.</p>

<p>The midsize SUV has three different powerplant options under the hood.
