The Evel Knievel Limited Edition is powered by the same 2,458cc inline three-cylinder engine found in the standard Rocket 3, generating 180bhp of maximum power at 7,000rpm and 255Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. It comes equipped with a six-speed transmission.&nbsp;Both variants&nbsp;have&nbsp;Brembo Stylema callipers and twin 320mm discs on the front wheel, while the rear features a Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc calliper paired with a 300mm disc. Suspension is managed by a fully adjustable Showa monoshock with a piggyback reservoir at the rear and 47mm forks at the front, offering adjustable rebound and compression damping.

The standard Rocket 3 R and GT models are listed at Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 22.59 lakh, respectively. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.&nbsp;However, given that only 500 units of the Evel Knievel edition are being manufactured globally, it is improbable that this exclusive variant will make its way to the Indian market.

Triumph has unveiled&nbsp;the 2025 iteration&nbsp;of the&nbsp;Rocket 3 Storm R and&nbsp;Storm GT models to commemorate 20 years of the moniker.&nbsp;There are many&nbsp;similarities between both variants, with the majority of the differences&nbsp;being seen&nbsp;in aspects like paint options and ergonomics.&nbsp;A&nbsp;muscle bike with the biggest engine on a production motorcycle, the Rocket 3 gets a 15bhp power boost as part of the latest revamp. This&nbsp;brings the&nbsp;model's maximum power output&nbsp;from the earlier 165bhp to&nbsp;180bhp. Moreover,&nbsp;the peak torque from the bike's&nbsp;2,458cc in-line triple engine&nbsp;has also slightly increased to 220Nm at 4,000rpm. It is important to note that the base-spec&nbsp;R and GT variants will still be available for purchase with the same power and torque&nbsp;output as before. A revamped&nbsp;bodywork as well as lighter wheels&nbsp;are&nbsp;among other&nbsp;significant&nbsp;modifications.&nbsp;

The all-black-anodised components also comprise the rear frame forging, swingarm guard, fork lowers and yokes, risers and handlebar clamps, RSU Rocker, seat finisher, footrests and&nbsp;hangers for the rider and pillion, brake and gear pedals, levers, and a side stand. The darker look&nbsp;is enhanced&nbsp;by&nbsp;triangular DRLs and all-LED lighting.&nbsp;Additionally, the maker&nbsp;refers to the new Storm's 10-spoke cast wheels as "sportier." The front and rear wheels still span 17-inch&nbsp;and 16-inch, respectively.&nbsp;

The extensive set of features&nbsp;from the base models is retained in both the Rocket R and GT Storm versions. These include four riding modes, keyless ignition, cruise control, and hill hold control. Heated grips are an option on the R model, but they come standard on the GT trim. For a higher price, other aids&nbsp;such as a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), smartphone connectivity&nbsp;for the TFT unit, and a quick shifter can also be obtained.

As mentioned before, it is&nbsp;identical to the unit that produced 165bhp in the previous generation Rocket 3, with three in-line cylinders and a total displacement of 2,458cc. However, the only deviation comes in&nbsp;the form of performance, which has been increased to 180bhp&nbsp;with the new Rocket 3 Storm. The torque output has&nbsp;also been enhanced&nbsp;by about 4Nm to&nbsp;220Nm. Although there is currently no information on the new Rocket 3 Storm's India launch, it won't be long before the powerful model&nbsp;makes an appearance in our country given that Triumph sells all of its foreign models here.

Triumph Motorcycles has&nbsp;issued a recall for the Rocket 3 lineup sold in the United States. The voluntary safety recall initiated by the British bike giant&nbsp;is for&nbsp;all Triumph Rocket 3s manufactured between 2020 and 2024 owing to a&nbsp;problematic rear brake system. The Rocket 3 lineup comprises of 3 variants -&nbsp;the GT, the R, and the TFC. All motorcycles manufactured since 2020—more than 3,500 units—have been affected.&nbsp;The motorcycles' 12.7mm rear brake master cylinder cannot advance the brake oil to the intended distance. Additionally, as a result, air bubbles have started to form inside the cylinder, which may cause the pedal to travel farther when braking.&nbsp;This could enhance the likelihood of an accident or crash.&nbsp;

A larger diameter 14.0mm rear brake master cylinder, which Triumph claims displaces a higher volume of brake fluid, is the company's solution to this problem. Any air bubbles in the brake line that might have developed—which are more prone to occur when a bike is left unridden for extended periods—can be eliminated by this size difference.&nbsp;The manufacturer&nbsp;nevertheless advises all riders to conduct pre-ride safety checks before every ride to find any possible problems—including this one—before they become significant threats.&nbsp;As part of this recall, authorized Triumph Motorcycles dealers will, at no additional cost, replace the faulty rear brake master cylinders with brand-new, larger-diameter ones.&nbsp;As of yet, the recall has only begun in the United States.&nbsp;

The 2,500cc, inline 3-cylinder motor puts out&nbsp;166bhp of maximum power&nbsp;at 6,000rpm and 221Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm.&nbsp;For transmission, this shaft-driven motorbike has a six-speed gearbox&nbsp;with a bi-directional quick-shifter option. The motorcycle has a Showa mono-shock with a piggyback reservoir at the back and 47mm Showa forks up front.&nbsp;Both are completely adjustable.

In the Indian market, the Rocket 3 is available in four variants from Triumph: R, GT, GT Chrome Edition, and R Chrome Edition. With adjustable footrests forward, a handlebar that is somewhat pushed back, adjustable footpegs, and a backrest for the pillion rider, the Rocket 3 GT is a touring-friendly cruiser. Heated grips are one of the Rocket 3 GT's&nbsp;standout&nbsp;elements.&nbsp;The model's electronic aids include ride-by-wire as well as four riding modes: road, sport, rain, and rider configurable.&nbsp;These&nbsp;enable customisation to meet individual preferences and road conditions, which makes for a&nbsp;thrilling experience for riders.

The new Triumph Rocket 3 has finally been unveiled. It’s not only colossal, like the previous version, but also sportier. It looks modern, muscular, tough, and is confident about its intentions. And the fact that the ‘3’ in its name is no longer written in Roman numerals should be taken as a sign that it’s distancing itself from its past.&nbsp;

Bigger than ever 
This new Rocket 3 has very little to do with the old one, except for the fact that the engine here is also a longitudinal three-cylinder in-line of elephantine capacity – 2,458cc, which is 164cc more than the previous version. But, interestingly, the engine alone weighs over 18kgs less than the previous model. Featuring a shaft drive, it delivers 163bhp at 6,000rpm (compared to 145bhp for the old model) and a maximum torque of 221Nm at 4,000rpm, instead of 2,750rpm in the previous model.

The new Rocket 3 is a cruiser, no doubt about it, but it has tighter and compact lines that convey its sportier intentions. Oh, and it gets three exhausts – two on the right, and one on the left. It has an aluminium frame, adjustable Showa suspensions, a braking system that uses radial-mounted monobloc callipers, concealed passenger footrests and a forged 20-spoke aluminium rear wheel, with a 240mm tyre.

Compared to the old Rocket III, the new one is 44kgs lighter, which gives it confidence-inspiring manoeuvrability – something that the big old boy of the past lacked. The electronics suite lacks nothing – it includes ABS, traction control, four riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider), cruise control, hill hold control, a keyless ignition, and a Ride-by-Wire throttle. The instrument cluster is backlit, and the tank has a capacity of 18 litres.&nbsp;

A tale of two brothers 
The new Rocket 3 will arrive at the end of the year in global markets – in the first quarter of 2020 in India – and will be available in two versions, the R and the GT. Why? Well, to emphasise the versatility of this dragster and underline the fact that, apart from offering a flying start at every traffic signal, it can also be a very good travel companion.

Some of the details that make the GT different from its brother include advanced footrests, a lower seat, high handlebars, heated grips and a standard backrest. The weights of both bikes are different too – the dry weight of the R is 291kgs and that of the GT is 294kgs.

Twin LEDs 
The new Rocket gets a TFT instrument cluster, retractable passenger footrest and Brembo Stylema brake callipers. The dual headlamps are all-LEDs, while the fuel tank has a quick-release lid, with a brushed metal stopper, and the footrests are adjustable.
