2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X Updated with New Colour Option in India

Alongside this visual update comes a minor price hike of Rs 758, revising the ex-showroom price of the Triumph Scrambler 400X to Rs 2.67 lakh.

The revised Speed 400, on the other hand,&nbsp;is priced at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom),&nbsp;which is Rs 15,000 higher than the previous model.&nbsp;It features new colour options and a few minor enhancements.

The Scrambler 400X is propelled by a&nbsp;398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 39.5bhp&nbsp;at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6.500rpm, and comes mated to a&nbsp;6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch. Despite sharing a common platform, the two motorcycles have very different uses.&nbsp;The Scrambler 400X is designed for light off-road and on-road use, while the Triumph Speed 400 is a modern-retro roaster.&nbsp;The former has bigger wheels and a suspension system with longer travel than the latter. The Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X have sold over 50,000 units since their launch. The winning sales figures come from 50 countries, including India, UK, USA, and Japan.

In July 2023, I was in Pune for the launch of the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X and witnessed both motorcycles in the flesh. Two hours later, on my way back to the hotel, I had already booked the Scrambler 400 X without even riding it. Now, I don’t usually make impulsive decisions like that, for I am someone who thinks long and hard and spends hours doing research before making any purchase. This time, however, was different. What can I say, it was a classic case of love at first sight.

The Scrambler 400X had me captivated from the moment I laid my eyes on it. I was eagerly anticipating the delivery of my motorcycle, which would happen in October 2023, for that’s when the Scrambler 400X was to hit showroom floors in the country. Little did I know that a surprising plot twist awaited me.

October was also the month Royal Enfield decided to throw a spanner in the works by bringing out the all-new Himalayan. And, boy, has it created some confusion since! I missed the first ride of the Himalayan, but virtually everyone who attended the press ride event unanimously claimed that the new Himalayan was mind-blowing. More confusion ensued. And then when I finally got my hands on the new Himalayan during the MotoVerse in Goa, I could see what the fuss was all about. The new Himalayan turned out to be more impressive than I had imagined!

Despite being in love with the Scrambler 400X and anticipating the delivery, the capabilities of the Himalayan had me scratching my head day in and day out, resulting in my many sleepless nights. When I discussed this conundrum with folks in the office, I discovered that I wasn’t the only one sitting on the fence over this Scrambler vs Himalayan debate. Their suggestion – &nbsp;ride both bikes back-to-back and find out the answer once and for all. Consequently, we assembled both motorcycles, rode them on and off the road and lived with them for a couple of days to arrive at a definite conclusion.

<h2>Design: Looks Matter</h2>

First things first, the Scrambler 400X is a looker, and I would be lying if I said I booked the Scrambler 400X for any other reason – after all, it’s a spitting image of the classic Triumph Scrambler design. The proportions, petite dimensions, and high levels of fit-and-finish all make it stand out in the crowd. And even though it’s a smidgen smaller than, say, the Scrambler 900, many people often mistake it for the bigger one. Some of its key design highlights include a wide handlebar coupled with handguards, a headlamp grille, a 19-inch front wheel, a split-seat setup, and a twin-barrel exhaust. All of these give it an imposing and purposeful stance. It looks a bit of a hooligan for sure.

The Himalayan, in comparison, looks more serious and adventure-focused. Thanks to its 21-inch front wheel (spoked) and larger footprint, it looks much bigger and more imposing when parked alongside the 400X. What I love about the new Himalayan’s design is that, unlike its predecessor, it doesn’t look crude. It has some cool colour options, like the Hanle Black you see here, and it feels like a thoroughly modern motorcycle now, with all LED lighting and even a colour TFT display, which is much superior to the Triumph’s bare basic part analogue part digital instrumentation. The fit-and-finish levels have definitely improved, but the Triumph still has an edge over it in this department.

So, what’s my pick based on their aesthetic appeal alone? Well, I must say that even though the Himalayan is a great-looking motorcycle, my heart is still set on the Triumph from a design perspective. So, Triumph – 1, RE – 0 for now.&nbsp;

<h2>Features &amp; Ergonomics: Sizing ’em Up</h2>

In terms of standard features and equipment, the Himalayan gets the better of 400X. It doesn’t just have different riding modes and a bright colour display but also connected features and a stellar navigation system. Sure, the system does have some glitches, and you have to keep your phone unlocked all the time for the navigation system to function, but from what we know, RE has been steadily fixing these initial software glitches, and things are expected to get better in the coming months.

The Triumph, on the other hand, gets switchable traction control – missing in the Himalayan – and that’s about it. Not to mention, it’s a bit fidgety to use. That said, the LED headlamps of the Scrambler offer better illumination and are more powerful than the Himalayan’s. On the whole, though, I would still say the Himalayan offers more bang for your buck in the features department.

It’s much the same story in terms of ergonomics. For my 5’8” frame, the Himalayan felt natural and almost perfect in every way. The rider triangle is upright and feels spacious. Plus, the handlebars are placed perfectly – high and wide with good leverage – and it’s easy to flat-foot. Our test bike had the optional low-seat setup – the seat height in this case could be adjusted between 800 and 825mm, while in the standard setup, it’s between 825 and 845mm. The motorcycle tips the scales at 200kgs, but it’s surprisingly quite easy to manoeuvre even at low speeds. That said, it does feel a bit top-heavy and comes across as a much bigger motorcycle than its predecessor, so some riders may take some time getting used to it.

The Triumph may seem to be a more accommodating and accessible motorcycle, given its compact dimensions and relatively lighter weight (186kgs), but that’s not entirely the case. The seat, for instance, is quite tall at 835mm, and you will find the pegs fouling with your legs at a standstill or while wheeling the motorcycle at low speeds. Shorter riders will also find it a bit difficult to flat-foot. The rider’s triangle is spacious, and you sit comfortably in a bit forward-biased position. The handlebar is wide but not too high. Personally, though, I feel the Himalayan to be a better fit for my frame. The Himalayan allows you to sit ‘in’ the motorcycle, while the Scrambler makes you sit ‘on’ the motorcycle, so to speak. This is purely down to their different riding styles – the former is an ADV made for munching miles, while the latter is largely a naked motorcycle with light modifications for occasional off-road excursions.

So, the Himalayan leads in terms of features and ergonomics, bringing the current tally to Triumph – 1, RE – 1.

<h2>Engine Performance: Power Tussle</h2>

Now, let’s delve into the heart of the matter – the engines. Both these motorcycles feature liquid-cooled single-cylinder powerplants. The Himalayan’s unit – dubbed the Sherpa – displaces 452cc, while the Triumph is just shy of the 400cc mark at 398cc. However, when it comes to the power and torque figures, both the motorcycles are neck and neck – 40bhp &amp; 40Nm for the Himalayan vs 40bhp and 38Nm for the 400X. That said, they go about delivering their horses in a very contrasting manner.

The 400X’s unit is all about peppy throttle response and bottom-end grunt. The torque flows thick from as low as 2,000rpm, and shorter gearing helps extract all the ponies from this single-cylinder. The engine has enough oomph throughout the rev band, and each twist of the right wrist results in a quick burst of acceleration. You will love this aspect when you’re riding within the close confines of the city. This motor also loves to be revved and has quite a strong top end. However, vibrations become quite evident between 5,000 – 7,000rpm, with the handlebar, tank, and footpegs buzzing like bees. The vibey nature of the engine is also quite evident during highway riding, and short gear ratios don’t help either. If you intend to do long-distance touring or cruising, this is not the right motorcycle of the two, as the engine always seems to be on a boil at triple-digit speeds.

There’s no such concern with the Himalayan if you spend most of your time on highways, which doesn’t necessarily mean touring. For instance, my commute includes 60% highway riding and 40% city riding, so even for me, the Himalayan’s motor’s calm and composed nature works better than the get-up-and-go Triumph. Sure, it also vibrates at mid-to-high rpm, but vibrations here somehow feel better damped. Having said that, the Himalayan’s low-end is relatively weaker than that of the Triumph, and you will find yourself slipping the clutch while navigating through traffic. But, once the motor revs past 3,000rpm, it starts to sing and dance, as a strong surge starts to build and continues all the way up to 8,000rpm – for a RE motorcycle, it’s a bit of a pleasant surprise. The gearing of the RE is very well-judged too – the in-gear acceleration is strong, making overtakes a brisk affair. Once you’re on the move, you won’t find yourself working the gearbox as often as you would with the Triumph. However, I must add that the gear-shift quality of the 400X is better than the Himalayan’s, for the latter feels vague at times.

Now, I find it impossible to pick a winner in this department, since both powertrains are potent in their own right. So, let’s call it a tie. This means the scores are even now: Triumph – 2, RE – 2.

<h2>Ride &amp; Handling: Make or Break</h2>

This will be the title decider, so let me cut to the chase, kill the suspense, and reveal that the Himalayan emerges as the champion in this department. Be it on the road or off-road, the RE feels more composed and better balanced than the Triumph. Now, allow me to explain this in detail.

The Himalayan’s new twin-spar chassis and Showa suspension – a 43mm front fork and a mono-shock at the rear – have made this motorcycle an absolute peach. There’s a newfound agility and composure that, quite honestly, shocked me – in a good way, obviously – given that it’s an RE. The suspension is so beautifully damped that it’s supple enough to gobble up all kinds of road imperfections while managing to remain firm and surefooted when pushed around a well-paved corner. It’s remarkable how balanced and nimble the Himalayan feels. What’s even better is that this stellar balance also continues during off-road excursions – the Himalayan feels rock steady when the going gets rocky, and the kind of confidence the front end inspires is commendable. Plus, the fact that it has more travel (200mm vs 150mm at both ends) and more ground clearance (230mm vs 195mm) is certainly more comforting for off-road junkies.

What truly blew my mind away, though, was how the Himalayan tackles everyday commute – for a 200kgs adventure motorcycle, it is surprisingly nimble and quite fun to ride in the city. And the only word that I would use to explain this is ‘balance’. In the ride and handling department, the Himalayan feels complete, regardless of the surface you ride it on.

In comparison, the Scrambler isn’t a shoddy handler either. In fact, in the city, it’s wieldier and more fun than the Himalayan, thanks to its short wheelbase. But this also makes it a one-trick pony. The suspension lacks the finesse of the Himalayan’s. It feels a bit soft and soggy and doesn’t feel as surefooted around corners. I also don’t like the brakes – they lack the initial bite and don’t inspire enough confidence – and for this reason alone, I found myself taking things at a relatively slower pace during the test.

Off-road, the 400X isn’t as good as the Himalayan, but, then, it’s not something that it’s intended to do. That said, it’s quite decent for light trail riding. The suspension has just about enough travel for small rocks and undulations, and it doesn’t shy away from tackling bad and bumpy roads. In fact, for city rides, the Scrambler is a better motorcycle – although, I must add that I enjoyed the Himalayan more even in the city.

Picking a clear winner between these two was never going to be an easy affair. As much as I love the Scrambler 400X and am biased towards it, I can’t ignore the fact that objectively, the Himalayan is the better and most complete motorcycle of the two. Sure, it isn’t as good as the Scrambler as a daily rider, and the engine lacks that typical low-end grunt, but as an overall package, it’s really hard to bet against the Himalayan.

I should also mention that at the time when we shot this feature, the price difference between the Himalayan and Scrambler was a mere ₹6,000, but Royal Enfield has now jacked up the prices of the Himalayan by a whopping ₹15,000. That’s a steep hike, but I would still say that the Himalayan is worth every penny. It’s not just the more complete motorcycle of the two here but also arguably the most complete motorcycle under ₹3 lakh.

As for me, I think I would still hang on to the Scrambler 400X booking because while the Himalayan has totally bowled me over as a product, I still heart the little Triumph a wee bit more.

2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan vs Triumph Scrambler 400X: Which is Better for Everyday Adventure?

Can't decide between the Triumph Scrambler 400X and the new Royal Enfield Himalayan? Don't worry, our man Shivank is in the same boat and he's here to help you and himself make the right decision.

&nbsp;As an owner and self-admitted fanboy of Triumph Motorcycles, I have to admit, I was quite excited when the company launched the Speed 400. It was a middle-weight roadster with good dynamics, a comfortable ride and most importantly, Triumph-level quality parts. What's not to like? There is a reason it won autoX's 'bike of the year' accolade - it's bloody good! However, once all the dust settled and I got to reflect on my first ride experience, the excitement quickly faded and how! Yes, it's priced well and does everything you ask of it and does it well, but nothing more. You want a proper street weapon? <a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/bike-reviews/ktm-390-duke-first-ride-review-great-balls-of-fire-114619/">Duke 390</a>. Want more features? Apache RTR 310. Want more power? Interceptor 650.&nbsp;&nbsp;It gets the job done but lacks the X factor. Coincidentally enough, Triumph Motorcycles also showcased another 400cc motorcycle alongside it - the Scrambler 400X. It promises to do all the Speed can but go beyond, literally and figuratively. So if I’m on the hunt for the best 300–400cc dual-sport motorcycle in India - is this finally the one? With that thought, I find myself hurling down a dirt road at 80km/h, and as I try to give my photographer the best shot I can, I simultaneously try to find the answer.

<h2>Triumph Scrambler 400X Review:&nbsp;&nbsp;Design &amp; Dimensions</h2>

Triumph Motorcycles showcased the Scrambler 400X to journalists at the first ride event of its twin, the Speed 400. I never got to attend and therefore, while many praised the motorcycle for looking like its bigger, badder twin, the difference wasn’t so evident for me in photographs. However, once I got to see it in person, I can testify to the fact that the difference might be insignificant on paper but it looks significantly bigger. The major design changes, and highlights, are concentrated up front, like the 19-inch alloy wheel, larger 32-inch discs, headlight guard, hand guard, radiator guard and bash plate. The front-end has been beefed up and it definitely looks the part. If you are new to motorcycles, you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference between it and the Scrambler 900. Oh, and to top it off, all of the aforementioned accessories come as standard fitment and you get them with the base price you pay for the motorcycle. To add to the list, this bundle also includes the handlebar cross brace,&nbsp;&nbsp;which is meant to negate vibrations coming through to your hands over rough surfaces.&nbsp;

Now, the side profile is largely similar but you get 37mm of added ground clearance and a 40mm addition in its wheelbase. These additions, in my opinion, have gone a long way in giving the Scrambler 400X not only the off-road chop it needs but also the visual stance of a much larger motorcycle. The added dimensions, whilst making it look good, help the Scrambler with better stability, and even gets sharper rake over the Speed 400 to not sacrifice too much flickability. However, more on this as we come to the performance. As a functional upgrade, you also get tank grips as standard and these functioned well for my knee to rest perfectly while sitting or standing. The only visual design change was the addition of an oval metal plaque with ‘Scrambler 400X’ etched on it, another familiar touch from its bigger Scrambler siblings. If you look towards the other side, the Scrambler also gets a stubby, double-exit exhaust, which not only is swept up for offroad riding, but also makes the bike look even more special. Triumph has also tuned this exhaust for more bass, and I definitely think it sounds a whole better compared to the Speed. The ‘Zing’ of the Speed 400’s exhaust now is a proper ‘Braap’ with the Scrambler, and I loved it!&nbsp;

Now compared to the Speed 400 which gets a one piece seat, the Scrambler gets a split-style, two-piece set up which looks a lot better in my opinion. To add to the style quotient, Triumph seems to have made the seat firmer over the Speed 400 in order to reduce fatigue and aid its touring ability. At the back, design of the Scrambler remains similar to that of the Speed. However, a difference that is invisible to the naked eye is the added 20mm of travel from the rear suspension, while the front suspension gets 10mm of added travel.

<h2>Triumph Scrambler 400X Review: Ergonomics &amp; Features</h2>

At this point, you may be thinking that the Scrambler 400X is taller and therefore, a task to hop a leg across if you aren’t of the right vertical stature. And in that regard, it is exactly how you would have imagined. With ground clearance being higher and a 45mm addition in the seat height, my 5'7 (okay, fine, 5’6 and a half) frame found it to be a bit too tall. But all of it is necessary for the purpose it has been designed for and you'll just have to get used to it. However, once you climb on, the bike feels balanced and easy to handle but in tight parking/maneuvering situations, all of the weight which is now concentrated higher, can get bothersome. The riding position though, I felt was just spot on. It feels very natural to sit on or stand, in fact, in any condition. The handle bar is raised and falls easier to your hands, compared to the Speed 400. Overall, it wasn't difficult finding a comfortable riding position for slow or fast speed riding.

In terms of features, you get the old Triumph Street Triple-style half-digital and half-analogue dial. Moreover, you'll also find switchable traction control, an off road mode (switches off the TC and ABS at the same time), USB type charging port and slipper clutch assist. The two flaws I did find which will help improve the riding experience. The first is the information toggle button, which switches off the ABS and needs to be pressed for exactly 5 seconds in order for it to function correctly. At times, I found it to be a bit too erratic and at multiple occasions, I found myself pressing the button and having to count to 5 in my head. Thankfully the off road settings can be switched on using the same button in just two seconds and that was a lot more intuitive. Now, I might be nitpicking but another issue that I found to be irritable was the fact that whilst sitting and riding, thanks to the sharper rake angle, it gets hard to see the fuel read out without standing up. The latter seemed to be the graver oversight, one which Triumph fans will scratch their heads over.

<h2>Triumph Scrambler 400X Review: Performance</h2>

Now we get to the meat-of-the-matter and that is its performance. Let’s start with the engine and you’ll find that&nbsp;&nbsp;it gets exactly the same 398cc, liquid-cooled engine making 40bhp @ 8,000rpm and a peak torque output of 6,500 rpm. As you all would be aware, this engine has no connection to the Duke 390 and I hope we are past that argument. Like the Speed 400, the scrambler also makes 80 percent of its usable power comes in as early as 3,000rpm, and that really helps with the usability of this motorcycle on-and-off the road. The engine feels buttery smooth and vibrations only creep in past the 6000rpm mark. The power delivery doesn't feel harsh or peaky, either. The power comes in strong and builds progressively all the way to the red line. There seems to be absolutely no flat spot with the engine and every twist of the throttle resulted in me surging ahead with gusto, regardless of the gear you are in. I’ll be honest, I felt like a real hooligan riding through the quaint, sleepy village of Kolad, Maharashtra. Every straight piece of tarmac was an excuse to do a wheelie, and every speed breaker was an excuse to jump it.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a big plus point for the Scrambler is how well the gear ratios are tuned. First and second, they seem to be perfect for city and off road conditions. Triumph has reduced sprocket size down by one to a 14-tooth affair at the front, in order to help out with a more sprightly power delivery, and that really shows. The company has also reworked the cylinder heads and cylinder coating to negate any power loss at lower engine revs. However, what impressed me the most is how usable third gear was. Slowing down to 20kmph, even sometimes 15 km/h, and speeding up past three digit speeds - third gear felt like it might be the only gear you'll ever need. We concentrated our ride through country-side, B-roads and rough road conditions and I really didn't get enough opportunities to fully explore its potential in higher gears, so that will be something we reserve for a detailed review.

<h2>Triumph Scrambler 400X Review: Off-Road &amp; Braking</h2>

In terms of handling, you get added height and a longer wheelbase, and in essence it shouldn't have been as agile and nimble as it felt. What really ties in the entire handling experience is the flickable front-end, thanks to the sharper rake angle. Not only was the Scrambler a beauty to handle on the road but it felt so friendly when you had to take it off the road as well. The bike has been built for those who are getting into motorcycles, or are looking to buy their first off-road ready motorcycle, and the engineering that has gone behind making it so approachable really shines through. I really did not expect it to be this good. In fact, it felt almost as sharp as the Duke 390 and that is really saying something. When it comes to comfort, the added travel from the front and rear suspension really iron out any bad patches of road, potholes or broken road conditions. Now while we couldn't experience any proper trails or off road conditions in the little time we spent with it, the small trails I did put it through were dealt with absolutely no drama. The bike was shod with MRF Zapper Kurve tyres and they go a long way in helping the Scrambler with predictable handling over rough conditions.

In the braking department, while the front disc brakes are larger than the Speed 400, the rear disc set up remains intact. However, I really liked what the Speed 400 had to offer and the Scrambler has only improved upon. On the road, the brake bite feels strong, whilst also having a progressive response. Once you climb on and start riding, not only is the power non-intimidating and handling predictable, but the brakes also work in cohesion to build your confidence as fast as possible. While you do have the option of switching off ABS through the menu or via turning the off road mode, it does not get intrusive even if you have it switched on. The computer does allow for a reasonable amount of wheel lock and it is just enough to allow you to have a bit of fun on and off road.

<h2>Triumph Scrambler 400X Review: Verdict</h2>

So, is this the affordable off-road ready motorcycle that we all have been waiting for? I definitely think so. While the Speed 400 manages to be the do-it-all motorcycle for all your motorcycling needs, the Scrambler 400X is naughtier, fun sibling amongst the two. Not only does it manage to be approachable enough for everyday use, but is a strong candidate for the best middle-weight adventure-ready motorcycle in the market. I am a Triumph Trident owner and this has really lived up to the expectations I had from it. It is extremely usable on and off road, while being the tool I need to build my way up to big ADVs. In fact, I'm seriously contemplating picking one up for myself. With a price tag of Rs 2.62 lakh (ex-showroom), the Triumph Scrambler brings more than it needs to the table for me to pick it as over the Speed 400.

The company says that all accessories have been designed and developed alongside the motorcycles to ensure correct fit and function. Luggage choices for the Scrambler 400 X and Speed 400 include soft panniers, semi-rigid and rigid top box options, and a nylon bag. There is a luggage rack in the back for carrying a roll-top bag, and you can get one from Triumph or any other manufacturer to fit it.

Both the Scrambler 400X and the Speed 400 include a mud-splash package that includes front mud-guard extenders, as well as aluminium sump guards and upper and lower engine guards.

Triumph has effectively distinguished the two in terms of style, giving each of them the appearances that go with their distinct traits. The Triumph Speed 400 motorbike has a 300mm fixed disc up front with a four-piston calliper, and a 230mm fixed disc with floating callipers in the back. The Scrambler 400X has the same 230mm disc at the back and a bigger 320mm disc up front. Both motorcycles come equipped with dual-channel ABS. The Scrambler 400X has a slightly larger wheelbase (1,418mm) than the Speed 400, which has a 1,377mm wheelbase. The seat heights themselves vary. The Scrambler 400X is higher at 835mm compared to the Speed 400's 790mm. Additionally, at 179kg, the Scrambler weighs about 9 kg more than the Speed. &nbsp;

Triumph Motorcycles India started taking pre-orders for the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400x, two of the company's forthcoming models in India. These motorcycles were introduced in London, UK, and will be produced by Bajaj Auto in Maharashtra, India. Both items are shown on the company's India website, where prospective customers may reserve either motorbike for the low, low price of Rs 2,000. The two bikes have the same 398cc liquid-cooled engine, which produces 39.5bhp at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm. It has a six-speed gearbox. Triumph's Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X will debut in our market on July 5. Market predictions place the Speed 400's price at roughly Rs 3 Lakh, while the Scrambler 400X might ask for a little more. The new bikes are appealing to the eye. The Speed Twin 900 and the Speed 400 share certain visual cues, although the latter looks much more modern and fresh. However, the Scrambler 400X doesn't seem like a real scrambler while sharing the same suspension travel as the Speed 400. The Scrambler 400X has a revised exhaust system, dual-purpose tyres, and split seats.&nbsp;

In terms of overall dimensions, the two bikes are noticeably different from one another. The wheelbase of the Scrambler 400X is 1,418mm, making it somewhat longer than that of the Speed 400 at 1,377mm. The height of the seats also varies. The Scrambler 400X stands above the Speed 400 by 35mm, at 835mm compared to 790mm.&nbsp;

These two motorcycles are powered by a brand new single-cylinder motor that Triumph calls the TR-series engine. It's a 398cc &nbsp;DOHC engine, and liquid cooling system. The Triumph's power and torque figures are similar to those of the KTM 390 series, coming in at 39.5bhp at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6500rpm, respectively, however the British bikes achieve their peak output earlier in the rev range. The Triumphs, like the KTMs, come with a 6-speed gearbox.&nbsp;

Both motorcycles come standard with features such as all-LED lighting, ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, an immobiliser, an assist clutch, a USB Type-C charging outlet, and semi-digital instrument clusters. Both motorcycle features a large analogue tachometer and a tiny LCD screen. The panel displays a digital tachometer, a gear position indication, trip information, and a fuel gauge.&nbsp;

Seeing the heated grip symbol there is fascinating; maybe the British manufacturer will offer it as an add-on. Scrambler owners have the option of switching to an off-road mode for the vehicle's dual-channel ABS. Both motorcycles will debut on the Indian market on July 5, with deliveries beginning in August.

Triumph Speed 400 is a road bike with 17-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Scrambler 400x has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels which are well suited for off-roading. Buyers may pre-book both bikes on Triumph's India website for Rs 2,000.
