The Street Triple R now retails for Rs 9.95 lakh, down Rs 48,000 for the Pure White and Silver Ice liveries and Rs 22,000 for the Matte Baja Orange and Crystal White colorways, now priced at Rs 10.21 lakh. The Trident 660 and Speed Triple 1200 RS have not had their sticker prices altered. On the other hand,&nbsp;the Phantom Black, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow trim levels of the higher-spec Street Triple RS now have sticker prices of Rs 12.21 lakh, an increase of Rs 14,000 from before. Notably, the price of the Silver Ice livery has decreased by Rs 12,000, currently coming in at Rs 11.95 lakh. All&nbsp;prices&nbsp;are ex-showroom.

<h2>Triumph Street Triple R: Engine Details</h2>

A six-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter is standard on the 765cc inline-triple model, coupled to an aluminium twin-spar chassis. Both Street Triple models are built on the same platform. But there's a difference in engine tuning. The Street Triple R and Street Triple RS have different power output ratings: 118.4bhp and 128.2bhp at 11,500rpm and 12,000rpm, respectively. The bikes' maximum torque output of 80Nm at 9,500rpm is the same on both.

The <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/tvs-iqube-electric-scooter-crosses-50000-sales-milestone-in-india-112283/">TVS iQube</a> ST is an electric scooter from TVS's iQube series of two-wheelers. The new TVS iQube ST was unveiled for the first time at the Auto Expo 2023 and is expected to be officially launched at the TVS MotoSoul event in March 2023. The TVS iQube ST will be available in four colour options and will have a 145-kilometre driving range on a full charge.&nbsp;According to reports, the TVS iQube ST will cost approximately Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Three models—the R, RS, and the limited-edition Moto2 variant—are on the roster. The Moto2 variant is unlikely to make it to our market,&nbsp;but the first two will be brought to India. 2023 Triumph Street&nbsp;Triple R

This is what Triumph refers to as the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/triumph/street-triple-r/">Street&nbsp;Triple</a>'s most basic iteration or the entry point into the lineup. The 765cc triple engine on the Street&nbsp;Triple R produces 118bhp and 80Nm of torque. It boasts a more aggressive appearance and a new ergonomic riding position. There is also a motorsport-inspired enhanced rider electronics package.

The<a href="https://www.autox.com/street-bikes-in-india/"> Street</a>&nbsp;Triple RS is the Street&nbsp;Triple's flagship model, with increased performance, enhanced styling, and even more power. The same 765cc triple engine produces 128bhp and 80Nm of torque. It includes high-end Brembo Stylema brakes. This makes it the most powerful Street&nbsp;Triple to date.

Triumph Street Triple Moto2 Edition

The middleweight roadster series' top-tier, limited-edition model comes equipped with the most advanced technology. These include tyres made by Pirelli, Brembo Stylema callipers, fully adjustable Ohlins front forks, and rear mono-shock. A steeper rake, a higher tail, and clip-on handlebars are also added to the Moto2 variant. The design elements include top yoke numbers that are individually numbered, carbon fibre bodywork, and official Moto2 branding. Moreover, the bike will have a&nbsp;worldwide cap of 765 units.

The Moto2 edition's <a href="https://www.autox.com/1000cc-bikes-in-india/">765cc</a>, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces the same 128bhp&nbsp;and 80Nm as the RS version, albeit it gets more electronic&nbsp;aids including&nbsp;a lap-timer, a bidirectional quick-shifter, cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, wheelie control, and five riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider).

Triumph Racing Yellow and Crystal White are the two colours that will be available for the Moto2 edition.

2023 Triumph Street Triple Range revealed

Triumph has revealed its 2023 Street Triple lineup, and these motorcycles include a number of upgrades over the outgoing generation. The 2023 Street Triple will be offered in three variations: R, RS, and Moto2, with a worldwide cap of 765 units on the Moto2.

The Triumph Street Triple R gets the same 765cc inline 3-cylinder engine as the RS version, albeit it's slightly de-tuned, and the bike also misses out on a couple of&nbsp;goodies.&nbsp;&nbsp;However, with a price difference of nearly Rs 2.5 lakh between the two, the R version makes a compelling case.&nbsp;

Triumph has launched the new Street Triple R in India. Priced at Rs 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India), this the first time that the R derivative of Triumph’s middleweight roadster is being offered in India. Interestingly, the base S version isn’t available anymore. Not to mention, the Street Triple R is priced quite well, considering the top-spec Street Triple RS is priced at a whopping Rs 11.33 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Street Triple R gets the same 765cc inline 3-cylinder engine as the RS version. However, compared to the RS’ power output of 121bhp, the engine develops 116bhp in the R-spec. In global markets, the R version develops 77Nm of torque, but according to Triumph Motorcycles India, the R develops an identical 79Nm to the RS version here. The engine comes paired to a six-speed gearbox, while a slip-and-assist clutch is also offered.

Design and equipment-wise, the Street Triple R is more or less similar to the RS variant as well, but it doesn’t get all the goodies for obvious reasons. Among things that are identical in both the versions are twin-pod LED headlamps, Showa 41 mm upside-down SF-BPF front forks with adjustable compression and rebound damping and there’s a quick-shifter as well. Things it misses out on in comparison to the RS include Brembo M50 brakes, Ohlins fully adjustable mono-shock at the rear wheel, five riding modes, and a 5-inch full-colour display. The Street Triple R gets M4.32 front brakes, a Showa fully-adjustable mono-shock, three riding modes and an LCD display.

The newly launched Triumph Street Triple R will compete with likes of BMW F 900 R and Kawasaki Z900 in India as other rivals haven’t been updated with BS6 engines.

After launching the new Street Triple RS a couple of months ago, Triumph Motorcycles will now bring the Street Triple R into the country on August 11, 2020. As is the case with new launches during these troubled COVID-19 times, the motorcycle will be launched digitally.

Globally, the Triumph Street Triple is available in three variants – S, R, and RS. In India, Triumph sells the base S version, as well as the RS variant. However, now the company will be bringing the mid-spec R version here. Like the new RS version, the Street Triple R will come powered by the same 765cc 3-cylinders engine, albeit in the R-spec, the engine delivers less power – 116bhp as compared to 121bhp of the RS. However, it’s more than the S derivative (111bhp). The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of equipment, the R version will come with the same twin-pod LED headlamps as the RS, and it’ll also get Showa 41 mm upside-down SF-BPF front forks with adjustable compression and rebound damping and a fully-adjustable mono-shock at the back. It will also get a quick-shifter like the RS. However, it won’t get the RS’ Brembo M50 brakes, and instead of five riding modes, it’ll only have three. The Street Triple R also misses out on the 5-inch full-colour display of the RS – it gets an LCD display instead.

Since the R version sits between the S &amp; RS, expect it to be priced at around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Its competition will include the likes of the BMW F 900 R and Kawasaki Z900, at the moment.
