<p>According to an announcement Hyundai Motor India&nbsp;made recently, all of the&nbsp;MY25 cars will carry higher price tags, effective January 1, 2025. The&nbsp;price increase comes in the wake of&nbsp;rising input&nbsp;and logistics costs, as well as the adverse exchange rate. Hyundai India's model range includes the Grand i10 Nios, i20, sportier i20 N Line, Aura, Verna, and the Ioniq 5 EV. The first three are hatchbacks, while the Aura and the Verna make up the company's sedan range. Alongside these, Hyundai offers several SUVs (Sports Utility Vehicles) such as the&nbsp;Exter, Venue, Creta, Creta N Line, Alcazar, and the Tucson.</p>

<p>Speaking of, the first Hyundai car&nbsp;tested by Bharat NCAP last month is the&nbsp;Tucson, which received a&nbsp;5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupant protection. As standard, the Hyundai Tucson comes with&nbsp;electronic stability control,&nbsp;ISOFIX mounts for rear seats,&nbsp;three-point seatbelts for all, and six airbags. It also gets Level 2 ADAS, a&nbsp;tyre pressure monitoring system, parking sensors front and rear, and hill hold control. Prices start at&nbsp;Rs 29.02 lakh (ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>Hyundai India's Comment on Price Hike</h2>

<p>Tarun Garg, Full-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said, 'At Hyundai Motor India Limited, our endeavour is<br />
always to absorb rising costs to the extent possible, ensuring minimal impact on our customers. However, with the sustained increase in input cost, it has now become imperative to pass on a part of this cost escalation through a minor price adjustment. This price increase will be done across models and the extent of increase will be up to Rs 25000. The price increase will be effective from January 1, 2025, on all MY25 models.'</p>

<h2>Hyundai Ioniq 9 EV Revealed for Global Market&nbsp;</h2>

<p>In global news, Hyundai's flagship model for its Ioniq range of electric vehicles, the Ioniq 9, was introduced to the automotive world on November 21, 2024. Riding on the same&nbsp;E-GMP electric platform as the Kia EV9, the three-row Ioniq 9 gets an 'aerosthetic' design language,&nbsp;a curved roofline, luxurious features, ample space, and up to 620km range.&nbsp;</p>

Hyundai India to Increase Prices by up to Rs 25,000 from January 2025

The decision to increase the prices of all models is part of Hyundai's strategy to address rising input and logistics costs, in addition to the adverse exchange rate.

In contrast,&nbsp;the SUV's MY2024 units feature savings of up to&nbsp;Rs 25,000 for the petrol&nbsp;and Rs 50,000 for the variants, respectively. The price of the Tucson ranges between Rs&nbsp;29.02 lakh and Rs 35.94 lakh (both, ex-showroom).&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Hyundai Alcazar</h2>

<p>The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/alcazar/">Alcazar</a> SUV has discounts worth up to Rs 85,000 for both petrol and diesel models.&nbsp;It is set to receive a makeover later this year, with significant design and feature improvements.&nbsp;Currently, the SUV is priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line</h2>

<p>The turbo-petrol variants of the SUV (manual) are eligible for benefits of up to Rs 55,000 in July. The trims with a dual-clutch transmission, on the other hand, have slightly lesser discounts up to Rs 50,000.&nbsp;Customers may save up to Rs 45,000 on the 1.2-litre, 82bhp petrol variant with a 5-speed manual gearbox.&nbsp;However, there are no savings for Venue diesel. Talking about the sportier N Line, the SUV is offered with discounts of up to Rs 50,000. In India, the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/venue/">Venue</a>, and the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/venue-n-line/">N Line</a> starts at Rs 7.94 lakh, and Rs 12.08 lakh, respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Hyundai Grand i10 Nios</h2>

<p>The hatchback's CNG versions are subject to a maximum discount of Rs 48,000.&nbsp;Its petrol-AMT variants get advantages worth up to Rs 28,000,&nbsp;whereas the petrol-MT models have benefits of up to Rs 38,000.&nbsp;The <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/grand-i10-nios/">Hyundai Grand i10 Nios</a> is priced between Rs 5.92 lakh and Rs 8.56 lakh (both ex-showroom).</p>

<h2>Hyundai i20</h2>

<p>In July, the CVT variants of the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/i20/">i20</a> are available with advantages worth up to Rs 30,000.&nbsp;In contrast, the MT version comes with a bit higher savings of up to Rs 45,000.&nbsp;The i20 costs between Rs 7.04 lakh to Rs 11.21 lakh.</p>

<h2>Hyundai Aura</h2>

<p>For the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/hyundai/aura/">Aura</a> with CNG option, Hyundai is providing discounts of up to Rs 43,000.&nbsp;The petrol-powered variants, in comparison, are available with offers worth up to Rs 23,000. The sedan carries a starting price tag of Rs 6.64 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Hyundai Verna</h2>

The Aura from Hyundai comes equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is also compatible with compressed natural gas (CNG). When using petrol, the engine generates 82bhp and 113Nm, and while running on compressed natural gas (CNG), it produces 68bhp and 95Nm.</p>

The Hyundai car is available with two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former produces 158bhp, while the latter produces 113bhp. These motors include a manual gearbox as standard. A 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed torque converter is also available for petrol and diesel mills, respectively. <h2>Hyundai Verna</h2>

<p>This month, the new Hyundai Verna gets tempting offers of up to Rs 45,000 for all models. The 1.5-litre MPi engine mated to a 6-speed manual or 8-step CVT, or the 1.5-litre T-GDi mill, coupled with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch auto, are the offered powertrain choices for this Honda City rival. Priced between Rs 10.96 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh, the sedan has four main variants: EX, S, SX, and SX(O), and a 528-litre luggage space.</p>

<h2>Hyundai Grand i10 Nios</h2>

<p>With benefits of up to Rs 48,000, the Grand i10 Nios can be your next purchase this month. While petrol models are eligible for a discount of up to Rs 33,000, CNG variants are eligible for the highest discount of Rs 48,000. It competes in the market against the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Tata Tiago, and it shares mechanical components with its sibling, the Aura sedan.&nbsp;The hatchback's features include an 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto air conditioning with rear vents, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, and a driver seat that can be adjusted in height.</p>

<h2>Hyundai i20</h2>

<p>The retail price of the Hyundai i20 in India ranges from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 11.16 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a 1.2-litre petrol engine with 82bhp and 115Nm and comes with a 5-speed manual or the CVT automatic transmission, which increases the power to 87bhp. The Hyundai i20 N Line is an option for those wishing to purchase the hatchback with a turbo-petrol engine. A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in the i20 N-Line models gives a power output of around 118bhp.</p>

<p>Launched in September of this year, the i20 facelift comes with advantages worth Rs 10,000 on all models. However, there are still some pre-facelift vehicles of the standard hatchback and the N Line variants available, with discounts of up to Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000 for this month, respectively.</p>
