TVS Motor Company has begun FY26 on a remarkable note, setting a new benchmark with its best-ever quarterly sales. The two-wheeler manufacturer dispatched a total of 12.77 lakh units across both domestic and international markets during the April–June 2025 quarter. June 2025 alone contributed about 3.86 lakh units to that tally, reflecting a 20% year-on-year (YoY) rise compared to the 3.22 lakh units sold in the same month last year. Of these, 2.81 lakh units were sold within India, up 10% from around 2.56 lakh units recorded in June 2024.<h2>TVS Motor Sales: June 2025</h2>Motorcycles drove a substantial share of the growth, with sales rising to 1.89 lakh units in June 2025, 24% higher than the 1.53 lakh units sold in the corresponding month the previous year. Sales declined by 9.2% in June 2025, falling to 14,440 units from 15,859 units a year earlier. TVS attributed the drop to potential production headwinds stemming from the constrained supply of rare earth magnets, which are critical to electric vehicle components. Conversely, the company’s export operations surged significantly. Overseas shipments reached over 1.17 lakh units in June, an impressive 54% spike over the 76,074 units exported in June 2024. The bulk of this expansion came from its two-wheeler portfolio, which alone saw export volumes soar by 58% over the previous year.<h2>TVS iQube Gets New Variant</h2>TVS Motor Company has expanded its iQube electric scooter lineup with the introduction of a new mid-tier 3.1kWh variant, priced at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned between the base 2.2kWh and the premium 3.5kWh models, this new version aims to strike a balance between affordability and performance, targeting urban commuters seeking a practical yet capable EV. It carries forward the familiar iQube styling and hardware while adding a larger battery pack and more features. There are no mechanical changes, as it retains the same chassis, suspension setup (telescopic forks and twin rear shocks), and braking hardware (220mm front disc, 130mm rear drum). Weighing in at 117 kg, it is available in five colours, including Titanium Grey, Pearl White, and dual-tone finishes like Starlight Blue-Beige.

In October, TVS Motor Company achieved a remarkable milestone with sales reaching a record-breaking 4,34,714 units, reflecting a substantial 21% increase from the previous year's sales of 3,60,288 units. The overall two-wheeler sales saw a commendable 22% surge, rising to 4,20,610 units compared to the 3,44,630 units sold in October 2022.

Domestic two-wheeler sales witnessed a robust 25% growth in October, climbing from 2,75,934 units in the corresponding period last year to an impressive 344,957 units. Motorcycle sales also experienced a notable uptick, increasing by 23% to 2,01,965 units compared to 1,64,568 units in the same period last year. Scooter sales followed suit, registering a 22% gain by rising from 135,190 units in October 2022 to 1,65,135 units this month.

Furthermore, the TVS iQube electric scooter demonstrated remarkable performance, with sales soaring to 20,153 units in October 2023, a significant surge from the 8,103 units recorded in October 2022. On the three-wheeler front, the company's sales reached 14,104 units last month, a slight decrease from the 15,658 units reported in October 2022.

<h2>October Export&nbsp;Figures</h2>

In terms of the manufacturer's export figures, there was a notable surge, with sales increasing from 82,816 units in the same month last year to 87,952 units in October 2023. This marks a commendable 6% boost in exports. Two-wheeler exports specifically experienced a significant uptick, rising from 68,696 units in October 2022 to 75,653 units last month, reflecting a substantial 10% increase in sales.

<h2>TVS Ronin Special Edition Launched</h2>

The company recently rolled out the new Ronin Special Edition for the Indian market, which retails for Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition of the modern-retro motorcycle – a first for the brand – receives cosmetic and feature improvements. In contrast to the standard version, the special edition gets a new Nimbus Grey shade and distinct body graphics. The special edition model also comes with a USB charger, an eye-catching flyscreen, and a custom-designed EFI cover, all of which contribute to the model's functionality and aesthetic appeal. The bike sports a three-tone paint job, with a base grey colour complemented with white and red stripes on the fuel tank and side panels. In addition, the Ronin special edition features modest black finishing on the headlight bezel and wheel rims, along with delicate detailing on the R logo pattern.

The standard Ronin model also gets a multitude of features, including full LED headlights, an offset LCD instrument cluster with a TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth module for communication, rain and road ABS modes, a slipper clutch, and the glide-through tech. It is powered by a 225.9cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which puts out 20.2bhp of maximum power at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm of peak torque at 3,750rpm and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
