TVS Motor Company reported a 17% increase in sales in May, delivering over 4.31 lakh units. This growth reflects steady demand across its range of motorcycles, scooters, and three-wheelers. Domestic sales remained strong, supported by efficient production and distribution systems, while exports continued to make significant contributions. The performance highlights TVS’s ability to maintain momentum despite market pressures and evolving consumer preferences. Key drivers included popular models in both petrol and electric segments. With sustained sales growth, TVS appears well-positioned to carry this momentum into the second half of the financial year. Here's a closer look at the segment-wise sales figures recorded by the company.<h2>TVS Sales Figures: May 2025</h2>TVS Motor Company saw a notable year-on-year rise in overall vehicle sales in May 2025, delivering upwards of 4.31 lakh units – a clear improvement over the 3.70 lakh units sold during the same month last year. Two-wheeler sales alone accounted for more than 4.16 lakh units, marking a 16% growth from May 2024’s figure of 3.59 lakh units. Total exports jumped by 22%, with unit shipments moving from 96,966 in May 2024 to over 1.18 lakh units this year. Two-wheeler exports alone climbed 21%, reaching about 1.07 lakh units from 88,450. In the electric vehicle segment, the company reported a 50% year-on-year jump in sales, with EV deliveries rising from 18,674 to 27,976 units. TVS Motor reported a year-on-year sales rise in May 2025, delivering over 4.31 lakh units, up from around 3.70 lakh units in May 2024.

The company will provide its track-ready TVS Apache GP200R motorcycles for the new Pro Stock 200 class. TVS Motor to Supply Race-Tuned Motorcycles to Teams in INMRC

The Race-spec TVS Apache GP200R has a 200cc engine with a top speed of around 155 km/h. TVS Racing will offer full technical support to the teams in INMRC.

In October, TVS Motor Company achieved a remarkable milestone with sales reaching a record-breaking 4,34,714 units, reflecting a substantial 21% increase from the previous year's sales of 3,60,288 units. The overall two-wheeler sales saw a commendable 22% surge, rising to 4,20,610 units compared to the 3,44,630 units sold in October 2022.

Domestic two-wheeler sales witnessed a robust 25% growth in October, climbing from 2,75,934 units in the corresponding period last year to an impressive 344,957 units. Motorcycle sales also experienced a notable uptick, increasing by 23% to 2,01,965 units compared to 1,64,568 units in the same period last year. Scooter sales followed suit, registering a 22% gain by rising from 135,190 units in October 2022 to 1,65,135 units this month.

Furthermore, the TVS iQube electric scooter demonstrated remarkable performance, with sales soaring to 20,153 units in October 2023, a significant surge from the 8,103 units recorded in October 2022. On the three-wheeler front, the company's sales reached 14,104 units last month, a slight decrease from the 15,658 units reported in October 2022.

<h2>October Export&nbsp;Figures</h2>

In terms of the manufacturer's export figures, there was a notable surge, with sales increasing from 82,816 units in the same month last year to 87,952 units in October 2023. This marks a commendable 6% boost in exports. Two-wheeler exports specifically experienced a significant uptick, rising from 68,696 units in October 2022 to 75,653 units last month, reflecting a substantial 10% increase in sales.

<h2>TVS Ronin Special Edition Launched</h2>

The company recently rolled out the new Ronin Special Edition for the Indian market, which retails for Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition of the modern-retro motorcycle – a first for the brand – receives cosmetic and feature improvements. In contrast to the standard version, the special edition gets a new Nimbus Grey shade and distinct body graphics. The special edition model also comes with a USB charger, an eye-catching flyscreen, and a custom-designed EFI cover, all of which contribute to the model's functionality and aesthetic appeal. The bike sports a three-tone paint job, with a base grey colour complemented with white and red stripes on the fuel tank and side panels. In addition, the Ronin special edition features modest black finishing on the headlight bezel and wheel rims, along with delicate detailing on the R logo pattern.

The standard Ronin model also gets a multitude of features, including full LED headlights, an offset LCD instrument cluster with a TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth module for communication, rain and road ABS modes, a slipper clutch, and the glide-through tech. It is powered by a 225.9cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which puts out 20.2bhp of maximum power at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm of peak torque at 3,750rpm and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Jupiter, iQube, Raider and More Help TVS Motor Clock Highest-ever Monthly Sales in October

TVS Motor Company revealed that in October 2023, the firm saw its highest-ever monthly sales, with a 21 per cent increase in overall dispatches at 4,34,714 units. It further stated that 3,60,288 units were sold in October of 2022.

While four-wheeler retail sales boosted the sector throughout the festive season with significant growth, two-wheeler sales were variable.

India is undoubtedly one of the world's largest markets for two-wheelers. The two-wheeler market has been struggling recently due to a number of issues, but during the festive period, there was a favourable mood that was advantageous for OEMs. The performance data appear to be mixed, but they do imply that the market is no longer sluggish.&nbsp;Here's a quick rundown of how the brands have performed so far.

1. Hero MotoCorp

A 17% YoY fall in sales was reported by <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/hero/">Hero MotoCorp</a> in October 2022, when it sold 4,54,582 two-wheelers. 11,757 units were shipped, leaving 4,42,825 units for domestic retail sales and the rest for international markets. As of September 2022, it sold 5,19,980 units, a 12.5% decrease in MoM in sales.

2. Honda

Sales of two-wheelers increased by 3.9% YoY in October 2022 at <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/honda/">Honda </a>Motorcycle &amp; Scooter India, with 4,49,391 units sold. 4,25,969 units were sold by the corporation in retail stores on the domestic market, while 23,422 units were exported. Honda sold 5,18,559 units in September 2022, a 13.3%&nbsp;decline from the previous month.

3. Bajaj Auto

In October 2022, <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bajaj/">Bajaj Auto</a> sold 3,41,903 units, a 13% YoY decline. While 2,06,131 units were sold domestically, the company's exports were affected dramatically, falling to 1,35,722 units last month from 1,92,565 units a year ago. In September of this year, it sold 3,48,355 units, a 1.8% decrease from the previous month.

4. TVS Motor

<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/tvs/">TVS Motor </a>Company's total two-wheeler sales in October 2022 were 3,44,630 units, up from 3,41,513 units in October 2021, marking a 0.9%&nbsp;YoY increase. In September 2022, the company sold 3,61,729 two-wheelers, a 4.7%&nbsp;decrease from the previous month.

5. Royal Enfield

<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/royal-enfield/">Royal Enfield </a>sold 82,235 units in October 2022, representing an 86% YoY increase. Domestic sales were 44,133 units in the same period the previous year. Furthermore, on an MoM basis, it increased sales by 0.17%, selling 82,097 units in September 2022.

6. Ola

With the debut of the brand-new Ola S1 Air at INR 84,999, <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/ola/">Ola</a> made a significant effort during Diwali to turn India's EV revolution into a widespread movement.&nbsp;Throughout the holiday season, Ola Electric maintained a strong pace, cementing its market leadership position. In October 2022, Ola sold an astonishing 20,000 units, the most for any EV company in India. This represents a 60% MoM increase, outperforming the whole EV segment by a factor of two.

While four-wheeler retail sales boosted the sector throughout the festive season with significant growth, two-wheeler sales were variable. However, there have been indications of brisk sales, which has bolstered market spirits.

While the festive season saw double-digit rise in four-wheeler retail sales, two-wheeler sales throughout that time were less consistent. Here, we have outlined the performance of each two-wheeler manufacturer for October 2022.

TVS had launched the Victor first in 2002. Now in 2016, TVS gave us a brand new Victor with a new and improved 3-valve, 110cc, single cylinder, Ecothrust engine. The new bike has 9.4hp @ 8000rpm and 9.4Nm of torque @ 6000rpm.

The Victor when brimmed up can house upto 8 litres of fuel in its tank and TVS claims a fuel economy of 76km/l*. The bike is available in tow trims with standard drum or optional disc brakes. TVS offers the Victor in Red, Black Red, Black Silver, Grey, Silver and Blue colour options.

TVS Victor goes on sale in Uttar Pradesh

The new TVS Victor is now on sale in the state of Uttar Pradesh with the first unit of the motorcycle rolling out in Lucknow. TVS has offered the Victor in the highly competitive 110cc executive commuter segment.

Greaves Automotive Engines Business, part of Greaves Cotton Limited, added <a href="https://www.autox.com/?s=TVS+Motor">TVS Motor Company</a> to its list of customers for supply of single cylinder diesel engine (G435). Greaves engine business will be supplying this engine for the TVS King DS (diesel variant) which currently plies on roads in Kerala.

TVS launched the 3-wheeler King DS auto-rickshaw in June this year but only in Kerala. The rickshaw will be manufactured at the company’s Hosur plant.
