Last month's total&nbsp;sales beat TVS' sales of&nbsp;3,19,295 units in May 2023, registering a growth of 13 per cent year-on-year (YoY). In May 2024, the company's total two-wheeler sales included 88,450 exports accounting for 33 per cent of TVS' 3,59,590 units.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Of the total two-wheelers sold in May 2024,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/scooters/">scooters</a> and <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/">motorcycles</a> contributed 1,45,305 units (up 20 per cent YoY) and 1,73,627 units (up 7 per cent YoY), respectively, while the electric vehicle (EV) retails in May 2024 at&nbsp;18,674 units constituted 4 per cent YoY growth (May 2023:&nbsp;17,953 units).</p>

<p>Offered in&nbsp;110cc and 125cc versions, the Jupiter is currently TVS' best-selling scooter in the company's two-wheeler lineup. It gets&nbsp;two engine options –&nbsp;a 109.7cc single-cylinder&nbsp;and a&nbsp;124.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled&nbsp;engine, both of which use ETFi (fuel-injection) technology. TVS Motor Company Clocks 7% YoY Domestic Two-wheeler Sales, Over 2.70 Lakh Units Sold

TVS Motor Company has recorded its two-wheeler domestic market sales of 2,71,140 units in May 2024, an increase of 7 per cent over May 2023's 2,52,690 units.

<p>TVS Motor Company has registered a 34&nbsp;per cent rise in their total sales in February 2024. The Chennai-based company sold 3,57,810&nbsp;two-wheelers last month as against&nbsp;2,67,026&nbsp;units in February 2023. Of these total two-wheelers, 2,67,502 units were&nbsp;delivered to home buyers, while the remaining 90,308 units were exported to other regions of the world. That being so, the company's domestic two-wheelers&nbsp;made up a 21&nbsp;per cent increase over 2,21,402&nbsp;units sold in February 2023.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<h2>TVS' 2W, 3W&nbsp;Sales Figures for Feb. 2024</h2>

<p>The cumulative sales&nbsp;(two-wheelers +&nbsp;three-wheelers) of the company stood at&nbsp;3,68,424 units in February 2024, reporting a 33 per cent rise over&nbsp;2,76,150 units dispatched during the corresponding month of 2023. Nearly 1.85 lakh (1,84,023, to be precise) motorcycles went on sale during February 2024&nbsp;as against 1,26,243 samples in February 2023, registering a growth of 46 per cent.&nbsp;Scooters, on the other hand, represented a growth of 26 per cent, with sales increasing from&nbsp;1,04,825 units in February 2023 to 1,32,152 units in February 2024.</p>

<p>As for its three-wheelers, TVS registered sales&nbsp;of 10,614 units in February 2024 compared to 9,124 units in February 2023 (Growth:16 per cent). Meanwhile, in the electric vehicle space, the company reported selling 17,959 units last month,&nbsp;in comparison to 15,522&nbsp;units sold&nbsp;in February&nbsp;2023.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>TVS' Export Figures for Feb.&nbsp;2024</h2>

<p>In terms of exports, the sales surged from&nbsp;53,405 units&nbsp;in February 2023 to 98,856 units in the same month last year, denoting an 85 per cent increase.&nbsp;Two-wheeler exports&nbsp;registered a growth of 98&nbsp;per cent, with sales&nbsp;going&nbsp;from 45,624 units&nbsp;in February&nbsp;2023&nbsp;to 90,308&nbsp;units in February&nbsp;2024.</p>

<h2>TVS Raider is Brand's Top-selling Bike&nbsp;in FY2024</h2>

<p>Powering&nbsp;the TVS Raider 125 is a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The power and torque figures stand at&nbsp;11.2bhp and 11.2Nm, respectively.&nbsp;According to the company, the motorcycle can go from a halt to 60km/h in 5.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 99km/h.&nbsp;The bike is currently offered in three&nbsp;variants: SX, Split Seat, and <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/tvs-raider-single-seat-variant-launched-in-india-at-rs-93719-check-details-112930/">Single Seat, the last of which was launched in April 2023</a>.&nbsp;</p>


TVS Motor Company Clocks Domestic Two-Wheeler YoY Sales Growth of 21% in February, Exports up 98%

TVS Motor Company sold 3,57,810 two-wheelers last month as against 2,67,026 units in February 2023, registering a 34 per cent rise in their total sales.

<p>TVS Motor Company has reported a 27 per cent rise in their total sales in December 2023. The&nbsp;Chennai-based manufacturer sold 2,90,064 vehicles last month when compared to&nbsp;227,666 units dispatched during&nbsp;the corresponding month of 2022. Out of the total examples, nearly 2.15 lakh units (214,988, to be precise) were sold in the domestic market, with the rest exported to other regions of the world. That being so, the company's domestic two-wheelers&nbsp;constituted&nbsp;a&nbsp;33 per cent increase over&nbsp;1,61,369 units sold in December 2022.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Cumulatively (two-wheelers + three-wheelers), TVS dispatched a total of 3,01,898 units in December 2023, reporting a 25 per cent rise over 2,42,012 dispatched during the month of December 2022. Of the total&nbsp;two-wheelers,1,48,049&nbsp;motorcycles went on sale during December 2023&nbsp;as against&nbsp;1,24,705 samples in December 2022, registering a sales growth of 19&nbsp;per cent.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

As for its three-wheelers, the company&nbsp;registered sales&nbsp;of&nbsp;11,834 units in December 2023 as against&nbsp;14,346 units in December 2022.&nbsp;Meanwhile, in&nbsp;the EV segment,&nbsp;TVS Motor Company reported selling&nbsp;11,232 units in December 2023,&nbsp;in comparison to 11,071 units sold&nbsp;in December 2022.</p>

<h2>TVS' Export Figures for December 2023</h2>

<p>In terms of exports, the sales surged from&nbsp;79,402 units in December 2022 to&nbsp;85,391 units in the same month last year, denoting an 8 per cent increase in exports.&nbsp;Two-wheeler exports&nbsp;registered a growth of 13 per cent, with sales&nbsp;going&nbsp;from 66,297 units&nbsp;in December 2022 to 75,076 units in December 2023.</p>

<h2>TVS' Sales Performance in Q3 FY2024</h2>

<p>For the third&nbsp;quarter of the current financial year 2023-24, the company's&nbsp;two-wheelers clocked a growth of 27 per cent, which translates to&nbsp;10.60 lakh units compared to&nbsp;8.40 lakh units in the third quarter of FY2023. Of these total two-wheelers, 48,000 electric vehicles were sold as against 29,000 examples&nbsp;in Q3 FY2023. Meanwhile, three-wheelers registered a decline, with sales decreasing from 43,000 units in Q3 FY2023 to 38,000 units in Q3 FY2024.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In November 2023, TVS announced its entry into the European market through a strategic partnership with Emil Frey. In December 2023, TVS Motor Company sold nearly 2.15 lakh units in the domestic market, with the rest exported to other regions of the world.

<p>In October, TVS Motor Company achieved a remarkable milestone with sales reaching a record-breaking 4,34,714 units, reflecting a substantial 21% increase from the previous year's sales of 3,60,288 units. The overall two-wheeler sales saw a commendable 22% surge, rising to 4,20,610 units compared to the 3,44,630 units sold in October 2022.</p>

<p>Domestic two-wheeler sales witnessed a robust 25% growth in October, climbing from 2,75,934 units in the corresponding period last year to an impressive 344,957 units. Motorcycle sales also experienced a notable uptick, increasing by 23% to 2,01,965 units compared to 1,64,568 units in the same period last year. Scooter sales followed suit, registering a 22% gain by rising from 135,190 units in October 2022 to 1,65,135 units this month.</p>

<p>Furthermore, the TVS iQube electric scooter demonstrated remarkable performance, with sales soaring to 20,153 units in October 2023, a significant surge from the 8,103 units recorded in October 2022. On the three-wheeler front, the company's sales reached 14,104 units last month, a slight decrease from the 15,658 units reported in October 2022.</p>

<h2>TVS Ronin Special Edition Launched</h2>

<p>The company recently rolled out the new Ronin Special Edition for the Indian market, which retails for Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition of the modern-retro motorcycle – a first for the brand – receives cosmetic and feature improvements. In contrast to the standard version, the special edition gets a new Nimbus Grey shade and distinct body graphics. The special edition model also comes with a USB charger, an eye-catching flyscreen, and a custom-designed EFI cover, all of which contribute to the model's functionality and aesthetic appeal. The bike sports a three-tone paint job, with a base grey colour complemented with white and red stripes on the fuel tank and side panels. In addition, the Ronin special edition features modest black finishing on the headlight bezel and wheel rims, along with delicate detailing on the R logo pattern.</p>

The Chennai-based two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, in comparison, sold 3,14,639 vehicles during the corresponding month of last year. Out of&nbsp;3,25,997 examples,&nbsp;over 2,35,000 two-wheelers were sold in the domestic market, with the rest exported to other regions of the world. In July this year, domestic two-wheelers posted a sales growth of 17 per cent, with&nbsp;domestic sales figures standing at 2,01,942 units in July 2022. Cumulatively, TVS clocked a&nbsp;4 per cent growth in its sales of 3,12,307 two-wheelers in July 2023, as compared to 2,99,658&nbsp;two-wheelers sold in the same month last year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Out of&nbsp;3,12,307&nbsp;two-wheelers, 1,53,942 motorcycles went on sale during the month of July this year as against 1,50,340 units in July 2022, registering a sales growth of 2 per cent.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
