When it comes to the world of motorcycling, one often overlooked piece of gear is the communications system. Having used several over the years, I can say from experience that the peace of mind and convenience they offer are truly unmatched. That said, finding a high-quality mesh intercom unit hasn’t always been easy. Thanks to a new partnership between two well-respected names in their respective fields – Royal Enfield and Sena—that’s all about to change. The result of this collaboration is the Sena 50S, available on the Royal Enfield website, for a retail price of Rs 35,990.Now, on to the device itself. The standout feature for me is the sound quality – both from the speakers and the microphone. During my tests, whether on regular or WhatsApp calls, no one I spoke to could tell I was riding a two-wheeler, even at fairly high speeds. The audio performance is powered by Harman Kardon, which, as always, sounds fantastic.  </div>If you’re someone who rides in groups, you’ll appreciate the ability to communicate across nine channels, with a claimed range of up to 2km. While I typically ride solo and didn’t use this feature extensively, given Sena’s reputation, I can confidently say that the group communication experience will be just as solid. The large jog dial makes answering and disconnecting calls effortless and intuitive, and the same goes for adjusting the volume on the move, even with gloves on. The only downside I encountered was the firmware update process. The device refused to connect with my Mac, even when using the original cable. Thankfully, I was able to update it via the mobile app. Speaking of which, if you use a phone mount, the app’s wide array of controls unlocks a whole new level of functionality, making the device even more versatile.As for charging the device, thanks to the USB-C port, finding replacement cables won’t be a problem if you misplace the one in the box. Battery life is decent, nothing exceptional, but sufficient for most rides. A particularly thoughtful feature is the ‘ambient mode’ button on the helmet mount.  Powering the Classic 650 is Royal Enfield’s 648cc parallel-twin engine, which delivers 46.9bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5,650rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear transitions. The 698 Mono comes in two variants (Standard and RVE), with&nbsp;a new Superquadro Mono engine and&nbsp;a&nbsp;6-speed gearbox. The engine on offer is a&nbsp;659cc, liquid-cooled, short-stroke, single-cylinder unit based on the 1,285cc Superquadro. Touted to be the most 'high-performance road-going single-cylinder engine ever',&nbsp;the&nbsp;Superquadro Mono makes 76bhp&nbsp;at 9,750rpm and 63Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. With&nbsp;a Termignoni exhaust system (for track use only), these numbers rise to&nbsp;83.3bhp and 67Nm.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono comes well-equipped with features from the plant; however,&nbsp;buyers can customise their vehicles to their tastes&nbsp;with a wide range of accessories that Ducati offers with the motorcycle. With the&nbsp;Sport package meant to enhance the bike's visual appeal and functionality, you get an aluminium license plate holder, dynamic LED direction indicators, and Termignoni silencers&nbsp;with black steel sleeves and satin-finish end caps. The Style Package brings&nbsp;several&nbsp;billet aluminium components, made in collaboration with Rizoma. These are rearview mirrors, fluid&nbsp;reservoirs for the front brake and clutch, and brake and clutch levers. Also on the list are the&nbsp;windshield and the exhaust heat shield in carbon fibre.&nbsp;

<h2>Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono: Track-friendly Accessories</h2>

The&nbsp;Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono can be further customised using&nbsp;track-friendly accessories from the Ducati Performance catalogue. These include a&nbsp;Termignoni racing exhaust, an air filter (for increased performance),&nbsp;Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) software, motard footrests (with an external plastic slider), footpegs with rubber cushions, a plastic under-sump plate, front brake covers, and a racing seat.&nbsp;In collaboration with Rizoma, Ducati also offers&nbsp;fork sliders and a swingarm to reduce damage in the event of a slide.&nbsp;
