Following its 'The Call of the Blue' brand campaign, India&nbsp;Yamaha Motor has updated the MT-15 V2, Fascino, and Ray ZR model range. As part of the latest revamp, a&nbsp;Cyber Green paint job&nbsp;is now available for Yamaha MT-15 buyers. Moreover, new graphical improvements can be noticed in the Cyan Storm DLX colour palette. One of the other updates is the addition of the hazard light function to the MT-15 V2 DLX model, enhancing convenience and safety.&nbsp;Yamaha aims&nbsp;to appeal to a wider range of riders nationwide, with a special focus on Gen Z customers, with its bold and vibrant&nbsp;portfolio revamp.&nbsp;Previously, the company&nbsp;announced&nbsp;colour customisation options for the MT-15 models in India, enabling&nbsp;buyers&nbsp;to&nbsp;pick&nbsp;and&nbsp;add their preferred colours to their bikes.

<h2>2024&nbsp;Yamaha MT-15 V2</h2>

Yamaha's MT-15 line-up now includes a brand-new Cyber Green colour option, priced at Rs 1.73 lakh&nbsp;(ex-showroom). To further improve the aesthetics of the street naked bike, additional graphical enhancements&nbsp;have been made to the Cyan Storm DLX colour scheme. As mentioned earlier, apart from&nbsp;the revised paint jobs,&nbsp;the Japanese bikemaker&nbsp;has equipped the <a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/bike-reviews/yamaha-mt-15-review-first-ride-105669/">MT-15</a> with the&nbsp;hazard light function.&nbsp;The current colour shades, such as&nbsp;Racing Blue, Ice Fluo Vermillion, Dark Matte Blue, and Metallic Black, are still available, giving people&nbsp;a variety of options to choose from.&nbsp;

The MT-15 is powered by a&nbsp;155cc liquid-cooled 4-valve single-cylinder engine, producing 14.2Nm of peak torque&nbsp;at 7,500rpm and 18bhp of maximum power&nbsp;at 10,000rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and variable valve actuation (VVA) technology.&nbsp;The bike also comes with an aluminium swingarm, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. On the hardware front, it&nbsp;gets USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear.&nbsp;

<h2>2024&nbsp;Yamaha Fascino</h2>

The <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/over-3-lakh-yamaha-rayzr-125-fascino-125-fi-hybrid-scooters-recalled-in-india-for-brake-issue-116197/">Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid</a> range includes several new colour schemes for 2024, which include Cyan Blue, Matte Copper, Silver, and Metallic White.&nbsp;The bike is available in disc and drum brake variants. Additionally, the Fascino drum brake version&nbsp;receives a brand-new Metallic Black paint job.&nbsp;Apart from the newly added&nbsp;colours, the bike is also available in Vivid Red, Cool Blue Metallic, and Dark Matte Blue paint options. The price of the model&nbsp;starts at Rs 79,150 and goes up to Rs 91,130. Both price figures are ex-showroom.&nbsp;

Coming to the Ray ZR,&nbsp;Yamaha has unveiled the model&nbsp;in a new shade of Cyan Blue for both the disc and drum variants. The 125cc scooter is still available in the current colour schemes of Metallic Black, Matte Red, Racing Blue, and Dark Matte Blue. Furthermore,&nbsp;the Matte Copper, Matte Black, and Light Grey Vermillion colour options for the Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally are on offer as well.&nbsp;In terms of price, the&nbsp;Ray ZR's drum variant costs&nbsp;Rs&nbsp;85,030, while&nbsp;the disc variant is priced at&nbsp;Rs&nbsp;91,130 (both prices, ex-showroom).

<h2>Yamaha Fascino,&nbsp;Ray ZR: Mechanical Specs</h2>

A fuel-injected air-cooled 125cc engine propels&nbsp;both the <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/industry-news/yamaha-motor-invests-usd-40-million-in-indian-electric-two-wheeler-startup-river-116088/">Yamaha</a> Fascino and the Ray ZR. The engine is coupled with a CVT automatic transmission and is BS6 OBD-2 compliant. Both models also come with features like power assist, automatic start/stop, smart motor generator, LED lights, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Yamaha previously announced colour customisation options for the MT-15 models in India, enabling buyers to pick and add any preferred shade to their bikes.

Launched at ₹57,898 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Ray ZR Street Rally Edition will be available at dealerships from the last week of July.

At the Auto Expo 2018, earlier this year in February, Yamaha launched the updated YZF-R3 and the much awaited YZF-R15 v3.0. But with a huge crowd waiting to get a glimpse of these two machines, the Ray ZR Street Rally Edition was somewhat getting overshadowed. But now, the company has finally launched it at a price tag of ₹57,898 (ex-showroom Delhi).

So, how is this Street Rally Edition of the scooter different from the standard model? Well, to start with, the Ray ZR Street Rally Edition comes with quite a few changes on the front-end. Unlike the standard Ray ZR, which had fins on the sides, this edition gets it on the top. The front-end of the scooter has also been fitted with faux air ducts. The scooter showcased at the Auto Expo sported funkier vinyl stickers and contrast coloured alloy wheels – both things are missing in the version that is now on sale. The Ray ZR Street Rally Edition also misses out on the two-tone seat.

The Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally Edition may look different, but underneath the skin it is identical to the standard model. From a 113cc motor, it produces 7.1bhp and 8.1Nm. While the standard model tips the scale at 105kg, considering the additional bodywork, this Ray ZR Street Edition is likely to be a few kilograms heavier. The scooter has a 10-inch tyre up front and a similar sized tyre at the rear.

Yamaha has officially launched the scooter, but it will only be available at dealerships from the last week of July. The Japanese bikemaker will only offer the scooter in two colours to start with - Rally Red and Racing Blue.&nbsp;

Yamaha has released teaser videos of the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition.

After showcasing the concept at the 2018 Auto Expo, Yamaha has finally dropped teaser videos of the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition on their official YouTube channel.

The release of the videos hints that the Japanese manufacturer is planning to launch the scooter soon. While the video does not specify the product as such, but from the visuals, it is easy to identify that it is, in fact, the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition of the scooter.

The styling will remain similar to the concept that was showcased at the Expo, featuring the graphics and dual tone finish. It will also get an all-digital instrument panel. The product itself will not be a brand new but will be based off the Ray ZR variant from their existent range of scooters. The Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition will feature the same 113cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine found on other Yamaha scooters in India. The motor develops 7bhp and 8Nm of torque. The Scooter will also get telescopic front fork and a rear mono-shock suspension setup. It will run on 90.100 size tyres with a front disc and a rear drum brake.

The Ray ZR standard version carries an ex-showroom price tag of ₹55,898, while the Street Rally Edition is expected to be priced at a premium, making it Yamaha’s most expensive scooter offering in India.

Yamaha teases the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition

Yamaha has released teaser videos of the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition. After showcasing the concept at the 2018 Auto Expo, Yamaha has finally dropped teaser videos of the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition on their official YouTube channel.

The Ray ZR continues to be priced at Rs 53,451 for the drum brake model and Rs 55,898 for the one with front disc brake (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

Yamaha’s youth-focused scooter, the Cygnus Ray-ZR, has received revised colour schemes and graphics for the 2018 model year.

The new colour options are called Armada Blue, Matt Green, Maverick Blue and Rooster Red. All these new shades can be had in the disc brake variant of the Ray ZR. On the other hand, Armada Blue and Rooster Red won’t be available on the drum brake model. &nbsp;

Yamaha has positioned the Cygnus Ray ZR as a macho scooter that is designed to reflect the strength of a ‘well-trained physique’. Consequently, the scooter sports a deeply-sculpted and powerful front mask along with slightly muscular body panels in comparison to other Ray models in the range.

Powering the Ray ZR is the same air-cooled 4-stroke, 113cc motor that’s mated to a V-Matic gearbox. Tipping the scale at 103kg, the ZR is claimed to be easily maneuverable and agile to ride. The scooter has a claimed fuel economy 66km/l.

On the launch, Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales &amp; Marketing, Yamaha India said, “As the two-wheeler industry recorded a growth of almost &nbsp;per cent in the year 2017, the scooters segment maintained its growth momentum at 12 per cent. The brand has been able to make steady inroads and will rev hearts with many more exciting products, particularly targeted at trend conscious young customers. By introducing new colors in Cygnus Ray ZR, the company will look forward to reinstate fresh excitement in this segment”.
