<h2>Benelli TRK 502, 502X: Engine</h2>

The&nbsp;Benelli TRK middleweight adventure tourers&nbsp;are&nbsp;powered by a&nbsp;500cc parallel-twin cylinder&nbsp;liquid-cooled engine that produces 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm and 47bhp at 8,500rpm. A 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine. The&nbsp;Benelli TRK 502 rolls on aluminium&nbsp;alloy wheels, while the off-road-focused 502X features spoked wheels. The bikes rival the&nbsp;Moto Morini X-Cape, the Kawasaki Versys 650, and the Honda CB500X.

<h2>Zontes' 350cc Range: Engine</h2>

On the other hand, Zontes' 350cc&nbsp;bikes use&nbsp;a 348cc single-cylinder fuel-injected liquid-cooled engine, which develops 37.5bhp and 32Nm of torque. The bikes roll on alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres.&nbsp;

Other notable bits include&nbsp;a&nbsp;keyless control system, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a TFT instrument cluster,&nbsp;Bluetooth connectivity, a backlit switch gear, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, four ride modes, and full LED lighting.&nbsp;

Benelli TRK 502, Zontes 350X and More Get 2-Year Complimentary Service, Prices Start at Rs 2.79 Lakh

The Benelli TRK model range consists of two models – the 502 and the 502X, while the 350cc Zontes models are the 350R, 350X, GK350, 350T, and the 350T ADV.

Chinese marque Zontes is preparing to enter&nbsp;the 600-700cc segment with its middleweight motorcycles&nbsp;– the ZT 703 F and the ZT 703 RR. The former is an adventure tourer, while the latter is a sportbike. Unveiled recently as&nbsp;concept bikes, the Zontes&nbsp;ZT 703 F and the ZT 703 RR share&nbsp;a brand-new triple-cylinder engine. Though the motor is offered in&nbsp;a 699cc capacity, it is differently tuned for each bike in order to suit their riding styles. The adventure-touring model cranks out 100bhp at 9,000rpm and 85Nm of peak torque at 7,200rpm, whereas&nbsp;the sportier version is capable of making 110bhp at 11,000rpm and 75Nm of torque at 8,600rpm.

Hardware-wise, the Zontes&nbsp;ZT 703 F comes with a 21-inch spoke wheel at the front and an 18-inch spoke wheel at the rear, hinting at its off-road capabilities. The&nbsp;ZT 703 RR, on the other hand, rolls on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120 front and 180 rear section tyres.&nbsp;

<h2>Zontes ZT 703 F, ZT 703 RR: Visual Bits</h2>

With the ZT 703 F, Zontes has stuck to the design rulebook. Apart from a combination of 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, the adventurer gets&nbsp;angular bodywork, all-LED lighting, and uniquely designed twin exhaust pipes.&nbsp;Crash guards, pannier stays, and a large windscreen give the&nbsp;ZT 703 F true off-road credentials. Meanwhile, the&nbsp;ZT 703 RR sportbike appears to be aggressively styled with low-slung clip-on handlebars, raised rearsets, and 17-inch wheels.&nbsp;For weight reduction, both motorcycles use a new aluminium frame and swingarm.&nbsp;

<h2>Zontes ZT 703 F, ZT 703 RR: Availability</h2>

The Zontes ZT 703 F and ZT 703 RR concept motorcycles&nbsp;are expected to evolve into production models in late 2024, however, the company has yet to make it official. If these concepts&nbsp;went into&nbsp;production, they would be offered at an affordable price range in order to cater to a wider audience.

<h2>Zontes Bikes in India</h2>

The Chinese manufacturer entered the Indian market with its 350cc product range, comprising five offerings – the 350R, 350X,&nbsp;GK350, 350T, and 350T ADV.&nbsp;The Zontes 350R is the most affordable model here, priced from&nbsp;Rs 3.15 lakh to Rs 3.25 lakh, while the top-spec 350T ADV starts at Rs 3.57 lakh and goes up to Rs 3.67 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.&nbsp;

For those not aware, the Zontes brand&nbsp;has been brought to India by Adishwar Auto Ride India, a Mahavir Group company, and its products are sold along with&nbsp;bikes from Moto Morini&nbsp;under a multi-brand motorcycle franchise, called&nbsp;Moto Vault.&nbsp;

The Zontes ZT 703 F adventure-tourer cranks out 100bhp and 85Nm of peak torque, whereas the sportier ZT 703 RR makes 110bhp and 75Nm of torque.

A brand-new motorcycle or car brand that’s unheard of before will always have a tough time convincing Indian buyers to even consider them as a choice, let alone fully trust their products. But let’s give Zontes the benefit of doubt, and look at its offerings purely for what they bring to the table. In this case, we have the 350R – a 349cc single-cylinder motorcycle that makes close to 40bhp and over 30Nm of torque. Does this sound familiar?

Let me start with the bits that we all loved about the Zontes 350R – its looks. Park it anywhere, and the 350R is bound to attract your attention – it stood out among the bikes that we had for the test. The reason for this is simple – it looks unlike anything else on the market and has really sharp styling. The rear end too deserves special praise here. When you move closer to the motorcycle, you realise it has so many buttons, and that’s because pretty much everything is electronically controlled on this motorcycle. The fuel lid, handlebar lock, riding modes… you name it, and it’s electronically controlled.

When you hop onto the motorcycle and take it for a spin, Zontes’ Chinese background sort of comes to your mind. The engine has vibrations and not the good characterful kind. These are persistent vibrations that you can feel through the pegs, and they continue throughout the rev range. But then, you reach a corner, and turn in, and the veracity with which the motorcycle turns re-calibrates your mind. It’s not that it’s something that you couldn’t have experienced before, but because of Zontes’ background, you don’t expect such prowess from a new brand. Ultimately, though, I can’t really say if I can recommend the Zontes to buyers in this segment. Vibrations from the engine are pretty severe, though if it’s fixed in future updates, then maybe the Zontes 350R could stand a chance to take over the hearts of Indian motorcycle riders.

Zontes is a brand that’s come out of nowhere and has straightaway jumped into the 300-400cc premium segment. But let’s forget about its origins for a moment. I want to talk about the X-factor of this motorcycle because the 350T ADV definitely attracts your attention. While I am not a fan of the design, which is a personal preference, there is no denying that it has a massive road presence. With its crash guards and tall stance, this 350cc motorcycle looked like a 600cc bike in the sea of ADVs we had on the track. Now, that’s definitely a plus point for any motorcycle owner.

Apart from all the electronic gadgetry that we were already expecting because of the 350R, the Zontes 350T ADV goes a step further with its electronically adjustable windscreen. Quite a feature at this price! That said, it’s not easy to stand and ride the 350T. The tank is sculpted in such a fashion that your knees hold on to it, but that same shape gets in the way when you try and stand up. The Zontes 350T ADV doesn’t have dedicated off-road tyres, and they slip and slide a bit – not enough to outrightly scare you but also not enough to have fun. You are always on the edge, about to fall off the motorcycle when you are tip-toeing your way through an off-road zone, which tells you all you need to know about it. The Zontes 350T ADV is a motorcycle that will be good for touring at a relaxed pace.

We would, however, have liked it a lot more if it didn’t have vibrations throughout its rev range, for then it would have been a better experience to try to squeeze every drop of performance out of this package.

After making its debut in India a few months ago, Chinese marque <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/zontes/">Zontes</a> has announced the prices of its 350cc product range, which comprises five offerings – the 350R, 350X,&nbsp; GK350, 350T, and 350T ADV.&nbsp;The 350R is the most affordable model here, with prices ranging from ₹3.15 to 3.25 lakh.
