It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, producing 260bhp and 370Nm.

The Golf GTI claims a 0–100km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds, with top speed capped at 250km/h.

The interior adopts a deep black theme, contrasted by vivid red accents, exuding a sporty undertone.

The Golf GTI gets a 15-inch touchscreen with ChatGPT voice assistant and a leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel.
