Hyundai Ioniq 5 Engine and other Specifications
This Hyundai electric SUV receives driving power from a 72.6kWh lithium-ion battery through a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The motor supplies up to 215bhp of power and up to 350 Nm of peak torque to the driveshaft, in order to propel the vehicle. These power figures are good to make the car run at a claimed top speed of 185 km/h. This Hyundai electric car has also been claimed to achieve a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.2 seconds.
The ‘Ioniq 5’ has an automatic transmission system involving a single-speed reduction gearbox. Further, the suspension setup of this newly launched car includes a McPherson strut in the front and a multi-link rear suspension. It has all 20-inch alloy wheels with 250mm wide radial tubeless tyres and all disc brakes. Furthermore, this RWD car has a wheelbase of 3000mm and a ground clearance of 163mm.
Talking about battery charging, the manufacturer claims that the battery of this car can be charged fully in nearly seven hours with an 11kW A.C., charger and in about an hour with a 50kW D.C., charger.

The exterior design of this futuristic Hyundai SUV shows off twin adjustable LED headlights with iconic daytime running lights, chrome front bumper, brand logo on the front end of the hood, and wave-like front fender design. The side profile possesses a diagonal crease line and a beltline which give the side/door panels a 3-D look. Furthermore, it exhibits a dual-tone flower-like wheel design, dual-tone rear-view mirror housing, fairly fixed body-coloured outer door handles, a shark fin antenna, and a rear diffuser. In the rear, it has twin LED rectangular tail lights which smartly illuminate the model branding placed between them.

The walkthrough cabin of this electric car includes premium front relaxation seats with ventilation and heated function as well as memory seat configuration for all seats (front and rear). It also has a sliding centre console that can be moved backward slightly so that rear passengers can access the things kept in it. Besides, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 interior encompasses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with navigation, a dual zone full automatic temperature controller with auto defogger, a wireless phone charger, and Bose premium sound system, among many other cabin-inclusions.
