Exterior

As for the way it looks, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage new model is an absolute head turner. Aston Martin wanted the Vantage to have the stance of a predator, and it sure looks like one. The whole exterior is a work of art and it even looks better than its siblings. The massive grille at the front, surprisingly, gels well with the slim headlamps and the low-slung nose.

In profile, the overall stance looks stunning and so do the massive alloy wheels. The roofline sharply flows into the rear tail section. Speaking about the rear, the slender taillamps, raised boot-lip, and the bodywork lower down makes it a delight for the eyes.

Variants

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage variants are as follows: Coupe. As for the equipment, the Aston gets a part-digital instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheel, engine start-stop button, two-zone climate control, and an infotainment system, which is borrowed from the older crop of Mercs.

Interior

As one would expect from Aston Martin V8 Vantage on-road price, the interior is finished in Alcantara leather, which makes it a nice place to spend time. The centre console packs a lot of buttons and there are carbon fibre highlights too, to further up the ambience. Space at the front is ample, with no rear space to speak of. Instead, you get a sizeable boot to pack some luggage for a weekend getaway.

Engine Specifications & Performance

The 4.0-litre V8 engine under the hood of the Vantage is borrowed from Mercedes-AMG. It uses the German automaker’s sensational twin-turbo V8 engine, which also powers its closest competitor, the AMG GT. In the Vantage, the engine produces 503bhp and 685Nm of torque and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
