Toyota Glanza 2022 Exterior Details

The new Toyota Glanza 2022 features design updates over its original look. The front fascia is updated with an all-new bumper that is significantly different from its Maruti Suzuki cousin and features a Toyota-style design language. Here too, the headlight setup gets an eye-lid style lip on top of the car's headlights that extends across the front end. The headlights themselves however features a very different LED DRL setup. The Glanza now gets a wider front air dam and sleeker headlights with integrated DRLs. The sides are similar to the Maruti Suzuki cousin, shod with new dual-tone alloy wheels, and the rear fascia looks wider with all-new taillights and a redesigned bumper similar to the Baleno as well.

Toyota Glanza 2022 Interior Details

The Glanza's cabin received updates in the form of redesigned air-conditioning vents and an all-new floating infotainment touchscreen in the centre. The car gets a sportier flat-bottomed steering wheel as well. The interior of the Toyota Glanza features a dual-tone colour scheme of beige and black giving it a rather premium look. Other interior updates include a new instrument cluster, steering wheel integrated controls, cruise control and a start-stop button to name a few.

Toyota Glanza 2022 Engine & Transmission

Engine specifications of the Toyota Glanza are the same as the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The Toyota Glanza is powered by a K12N 1.2-litre Dual Jet petrol unit from the Maruti Suzuki stable. This engine is capable of 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT gearbox. This AMT option is a first for Toyota in India. The Glanza also gets idle start/stop tech.  

Toyota Glanza 2022 Features

The 2022 Toyota Glanza’s feature list is quite similar to its cousin, the Baleno. New features on the Glanza include a few external features as well. Unlike its cousin, the Glanza gets L-shaped DRLs integrated into the car’s headlights. On the inside, the car gets a pop out HUD (Heads Up Display) and a 9-inch infotainment screen. The system also enables the Glanza with connected car tech and voice commands and is wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. The Glanza also gets a 360-degree camera, cruise control, keyless entry and more. Safety features receive an upgrade as well with six airbags in the top two variants, ESP and hill hold (AMT variants), ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounting and more.

Toyota Glanza 2022 Price & Variants 

The Toyota Glanza gets four trims over the last variant's two. While the G and V top variants continue, the Glanza also gets lower-spec E and S trims this time around. The Toyota Glanza is priced starting at ₹6.39 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) for the E variant and goes up to ₹9.69 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) for the top end V variants. The premium hatchback is offered in five colour schemes - Gaming Grey, Enticing Silver, Insta Blue, Sportin Red and Cafe White.
