In June 2023, Honda Cars India unveiled the Elevate for the Indian market. Before the SUV's launch, which is anticipated to take place in or around September of this year, the automaker released the compact SUV's mileage figures. According to Honda, the SUV's gasoline manual variant is said to have a mileage of 15.31km/l, while the petrol CVT model claims a mileage of 16.92km/l. It's important to remember that these fuel economy numbers are ARAI-certified, and the precise figures may vary depending on driving conditions. Honda Elevate: Powertrain
Under the bonnet, the mid-size SUV will harbour the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which also propells the Honda City. The gasoline motor has been adjusted to deliver a maximum power output of 119bhp and a peak torque of 145Nm. For transmission, a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT unit can be used with this motor. The SUV will not have a hybrid powertrain but will get an electric version sometime soon.
In terms of fuel efficiency, the Elevate returns 15.31km/ with a manual gearbox whereas it offers 16.92km/l with a CVT. The manual version of the car could travel up to 612 kilometre on a full tank of fuel, while the automatic version could go up to 679 kilometre.
Honda Elevate: Variants
The SV, V, VX, and ZX are the four different variants of the Honda Elevate. A soft-touch dashboard, eight speakers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a Honda Sensing ADAS suite, six airbags, leatherette brown upholstery, etc., are included in the top-spec ZX variant, while the standard SV model comes with 16-inch steel wheels, dual-front airbags, LED projector headlights and taillamps, push-button start/stop, and other features.

Honda Elevate: Price and Rivals
In the middle of August, the SUV will likely start reaching the dealership outlets, and test drives for it will start. In terms of price, the mid-size model is anticipated to have an asking price of somewhere around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). After the launch in the home market, the SUV will go up against the vehicles such as the Hyundai Creta, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and more.
