Auto Expo: Mercedes-Benz debuts the S-Class Cabrio and GLC in India

Mercedes Benz India showcased the S 500 Cabriolet in India and the GLC 300 SUV at the 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.

The GLC and the S Cabriolet are both to be launched in India among 12 cars in the year 2016. The S 500 Cabriolet will feature a 4.7-litre Twin Turbo V8 that produces 455bhp and 700Nm of torque. The S-Class Cabriolet is the first 4 seater convertible sports car from Mercedes since 1971. The S-Class Cabriolet will also feature AIRMATIC suspension as standard and will be available as CBU once the vehicle is officially launched in India.

The GLC 300 4MATIC that was unveiled at the Expo will be offered with a DYNAMIC DRIVE SELECT system with ECO, COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+ and also an INDIVIDUAL stettings mated to the Mercedes 9G-TRONIC automatic Transmission.

Mercedes also has the Mayback S600 GUard armoured vehicle on display in addition to the AMG GT-S, G Wagon G 500 4x4, the GLE AMG Coupe the GL and the GLA SUV from the GLA Adventure drive at the Mercedes Pavillion.
