VW India showcases Polo GTI

One of the sought after products in this expo, Volkswagen India today showcased the much awaited Polo GTI.

Powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine, the Polo GTI has 192bhp and is fitted with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. Along with the drivetrain, the GTI also features visual enhancements as well as the trademark honeycomb grill. The seats of the GTI are also finished in a tartan cloth, paying homage to the first-generation Golf GTI.

Expected to be one if the very few genuine hot hatches ever sold in the Indian market, the Polo GTI will hit showrooms in the second half of 2016.
