It can be argued that India's motorsport community has never been more active, more expansive, or more prepared to make its mark on the global racing scene. In this ever-growing industry, UAE-based motorsport team Akcel GP is set to compete in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), the Formula Regional Middle East Championship (FRMEC), and Formula 4 (F4).

Akcel GP, formerly known as Indian Warriors Racing, made a strong entrance into the motorsport scene with its 2024 debut in the UK's GB4 Championship. Founded by former Indian racing driver and current team principal Rohit Koul, the team quickly established itself as a contender. Following its debut season, Akcel GP was acquired by the Akcel Group, a company led by UK entrepreneur Amit Kaushal.

Now, with the backing of the Akcel Group and its sponsors, Akcel GP aims to make a significant impact on the international stage. The team has set its sights on the 2025 F4 Middle East Championship and the Formula Regional Middle East Championship (FRMEC). Akcel GP will field three cars in the F4 ME Championship and two in FRMEC, with a strong focus on developing promising young drivers.
With its strong Indian roots, it's no surprise that Akcel GP's 2025 driver lineup includes Indian talents Jaden Pariat and Aditya Kulkarni, who will join three other racers to form a competitive squad aiming for the top. Jaden Pariat, hailing from Shillong, brings an impressive track record to Akcel GP. After securing podium finishes in Indian F4, he continued his ascent in motorsport with a podium in British Formula 4. His 2024 season ended on a high note with a commanding victory in the F2000 Championship, further solidifying his credentials – which include being the 2021 Vice National Karting Champion.

Joining Pariat is British-born Aditya Kulkarni, a rising star in the motorsport world. While his transition to car racing came later than some, Kulkarni's raw talent and dedication have delivered impressive results. In 2023, he competed in the highly competitive GB3 Championship with Hillspeed. His journey began with karting success, winning the 2021 Junior TKM Karting Championship at just 16 years old. He then moved to car racing, securing podium finishes in GB4 and finishing an impressive fifth overall in his rookie season.

With Pariat’s experience in British and Indian F4, along with his F2000 Championship victory, and Kulkarni’s rapid rise from karting champion to GB4 contender, Akcel GP’s 2025 driver lineup is a compelling blend of proven talent and exciting potential.

Both drivers are primed to make a significant impact in the upcoming season, and we eagerly wait to see how their debut campaign unfolds with Akcel GP.
