Riding shoes play a crucial role in the overall riding experience; however, they are of little use when you are off the motorcycle, thereby posing a dilemma of choice between convenience and protection for those who ride to work or even in general. What sets these shoes apart is Clan’s precise sizing guide, which ensures a perfect fit for your feet. In terms of protection, the rigid sole and heavily guarded toes and heel offer robust safety. The sole in particular is quite well constructed, and despite its thickness, it provides a good tactile feel of the motorcycle’s controls. The sneakers are also available in a waterproof version, which is what we have been using. Under everyday conditions, they effectively repel water, although we haven’t had a chance to extensively test them under heavy rains.

Now, usually riding boots are bulky and have very little to offer in terms of attractive design, but these sneakers look very stylish, particularly with a pair of jeans.
