Kia Seltos

Bigger, smarter, and meticulously engineered, the second-generation Seltos offers a compelling blend of space, comfort, technology, and value in the fiercely competitive mid-size SUV segment. With aggressive pricing and an impressive feature set, the new Seltos is a compelling choice for modern families and discerning buyers alike.

Bolder by design, bigger by size

The styling on the new Seltos is unapologetically muscular, adopting the Opposites United philosophy seen on all the latest Kia models. The massive Digital Tiger Face dominates the fascia, flanked by DRLs pushed to the outer edges to emphasise width. The new Star Map LED lighting signature at both ends creates a high-tech look. The 18-inch crystal-cut alloys fill the arches perfectly, lending it an athletic stance.

One of the most noticeable upgrades on the all-new Kia Seltos is its size. The SUV’s longer, wider stance translates into genuine, usable cabin space. Measuring 4,460mm in length (segment-leading) and 1,830mm in width, with a wheelbase of 2,690mm, the Seltos now has one of the largest footprints in its class.

New Platform, Enhanced Safety

The Seltos becomes the first car in India to get Kia’s K3 platform. This architecture isn’t just about size; it’s also about structural confidence. With increased bodyshell rigidity and a modern structural design, the new Seltos has improved crash performance and overall safety. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, and tyre pressure monitoring. Top-spec models get Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Comfort Crafted for Families

Inside, the all-new Kia Seltos features thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail. The front seats are supportive, with a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat that also gets a memory function.

Then, there’s proximity door lock/unlock and automatic streamline door handles on offer. Generous rear legroom allows taller passengers to sit comfortably. Ample boot space, enhanced further by a low loading lip, makes packing for weekend getaways notably easier.

Ride quality has also improved significantly – it now feels more assured.

Kia has tuned the suspension for comfort, so the SUV effectively smooths out everyday road imperfections without sacrificing composure at higher speeds.

Tech-Laden and Future-Ready

Kia has clearly doubled down on technology in the new Seltos. The dashboard features a seamless 30-inch Trinity panoramic display with three high-resolution screens – one for the digital instrument cluster, one for climate control and the other for infotainment - offering crisp visuals and intuitive controls.

Wireless smartphone connectivity, voice commands, and a rich audio experience from the Bose sound system well complement this digital sophistication. Striking a balance between tech and user-friendliness, the Seltos gets physical buttons for HVAC and infotainment.

Attractive Price and All-Round Value

With prices starting at Rs 10.99 lakh and extending competitively at the top end, the Seltos delivers a feature-rich package without premium pricing typically associated with highly equipped SUVs. Interestingly, its prices are nearly identical to the launch prices of the outgoing model, emphasising on the cost effectiveness.

The new Seltos is also the most affordable 4-cylinder turbo-petrol midsize SUV you can buy right now. The starting price of its variants with the 1.5 T-GDi engine undercuts those of its rivals by up to a hefty Rs 6.6 lakh. With a sub Rs 20 lakh price for the top-spec model, the new Seltos offers an excellent value-for-money proposition.
