Maruti Suzuki Invicto Long Term Review, February 2025 Report

The Invicto is finally returning to the Maruti Suzuki team, and to be honest, I have mixed feelings. Sure, with its CVT + Hybrid setup, it wasn’t the most exciting to drive. But, to be honest, it does a really good job of what it is supposed to do. Its practicality and comfort, of course, cannot be matched. Sure, the ride can be a bit firm for some, but to be honest, I much prefer it over the Innova Crysta. The three rows of seating are very usable and I prefer the black upholstery the Invicto comes in.

The driving appeal is not one of its strengths, but it makes up in refinement, fuel efficiency and comfort. If you actually do long distance travelling, the Invicto makes a lot of sense. The super-efficient hybrid powerplant can lead to a lot of savings in fuel consumption, something I saw first-hand in my time with the car. With my driving style, getting an overall figure of over 13km/l in a petrol-powered vehicle is actually very good. And given its space, practicality and features, I really can’t find much to fault with the Invicto. Sure, it might not be the most exciting to drive, but, when push comes to shove, it does the basics very well.
