TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Long Term Report: October 2018

We still have not clocked a lot of kilometres on the Apache RTR 160 because of our busy schedules, but whenever we get a chance to swing a leg over the sporty city commuter we are always happy. The bike has just come back from its first service checkup.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a very comfortable machine to ride around on a daily basis. In the four months that we have had the bike it has performed very nicely and the only criticism till now has been that the brakes could have been a bit better. But, on the other hand the bike excels in every other department.

 
The main highlights of the bike continue to be the engine refinement and the handling. It took some time to get the hang of the light steering, but it became apparent that in traffic it really helped. The engine performance has been great when it comes to acceleration. The bike picks up speed very well and throttle response is great and you can switch through the gears very nicely. 

The RTR 160 serves its purpose of looking sporty and behaving sporty as well. The seating position as well allows you to be comfortable and still feel as if you can attack corners – which you can actually do easily. It is a great and fun bike to ride and it still rides like it is brand new.
