TVS NTorq Long Term Report: March 2019

In our line of work, we get to experience some really fast machines. However, a couple of days ago, while riding to work on our TVS NTorq long-termer, it suddenly occurred to me that it's the fastest thing that I've ever tested! Surprised? Well, allow me to explain...

You see, my office commute is a mess because of ongoing road construction that's been a work-in-progress project for an aeon. The total distance between my house and office is around 24kilometers. In a car, it usually takes about an hour and ten minutes, although it feels more like a decade when you're sitting in chock-a-block traffic, watching the mad circus on our roads. On a motorcycle - let's say, something like my last long-termer, the TVS Apache RR 310 - it's usually a 50-55 minutes affair. But, on the NTorq, it's 45 minutes flat! I mean, of course, it doesn't accelerate like a missile, neither is it a corner carver, but in the real-world - which is what matters - the NTorq is simply the fastest tool for commuting - at least, for me. It lets you easily zip around the roads and beat the traffic. I have to confess I still struggle to find any real con about the NTorq. Can I say, it's just perfect?
