Citroen is the official car partner for the 2025 JK Tyre National Racing Championship, providing safety and medical cars.

Citroen has entered the Indian motorsport scene as the official car partner for the 2025 JK Tyre National Racing Championship. This season, the Citroen Basalt coupe-SUV has been assigned vital duties as both the safety and medical car, stepping into a crucial role in one of India’s leading racing competitions. The Basalt is actively involved throughout the races, overseeing starts, managing caution periods, and responding quickly to any on-track incidents. Alongside this, the cars have performed stunt and drift demonstrations, highlighting their precise handling and control during the events.

Although this is Citroen’s first significant motorsport partnership in India, the brand has a well-established history in international rallying. It has won several World Rally Championships and competed in famous races like the Paris-Dakar Rally. This legacy now extends to the Indian motorsport arena.
The 2025 championship kicked off in August at Coimbatore’s Kari Motor Speedway and will run until November. The competition features four racing categories, supporting emerging drivers while also attracting seasoned competitors from across the country.
