Dakar Stage 11: Al Attiyah wins stage, Loeb second

Sebastian Loeb finished 2nd in stage 11 behind Al Attiyah who took stage win on the 431 km rally stage between La Roija and San Juan.

Cars: After climbing up the order following his crash earlier in the week, Sebastian Loeb proved his mettle by climbing up even further all the way to 2nd place, 5 mins, 52 second behind Nasser Al Attiyah who took the stage 12 win at the end of Thursday.

Stage 11 winner Peterhansel had to settle for 3rd for Team Peugeot on Thursday as the Frenchman checked in 8 mins 5 seconds after MINI driver.Despite finishing fourth, Peterhansel remains overall leader with over 52 min lead on Al Attiyah with only 2 stages remaining.

Bikes: KTM rider, Antoine Meo has taken stage win over Toby Price in category with a lead of 18 seconds over the overall leader. Despite the runner up finish, Price still leads the overall standings with a lead of 35 mins and 23 seconds.

Chilean, fellow KTM rider Pablo Quintanilla finished with a gap of 2 min, 48 seconds in 3rd.
