Jack Doohan is on the verge of a major career breakthrough as he looks set to secure a Formula 1 race seat with Alpine for the upcoming season. According to the source,  he is expected to join Pierre Gasly, following Carlos Sainz’s decision to choose a seat at Williams instead of Alpine. As the son of five-time 500cc world champion Mick Doohan, he has been a strong candidate for an Alpine seat, especially for the 2025 season. While the final contract has not been signed yet, an official announcement is expected soon. Doohan’s recent performances in F1 machinery have reassured Alpine that he is the right choice for the race seat, especially after Sainz's move made the opportunity available.

Although Alpine is a promising option, their 2025 driver lineup is not yet set. Pierre Gasly's spot is secured, but the second seat remains up for grabs. Jack Doohan, the team's reserve driver, is currently the leading contender, but the competition remains fierce. With his experience and talent, Schumacher is still a potential candidate as the driver market continues to develop. Fans and experts are closely watching to see if Schumacher will make his way back to Formula 1.
