Everyone is getting excited for the 2024 Formula One season to start with the Grand Prix of Bahrain now that pre-season testing is over. The Bahrain International Circuit has lately expanded its role as the site of all pre-season testing sessions in addition to hosting the season openers. In preparation for the impending race, the teams have tirelessly prepared their garages and pit boxes throughout testing.

Unlike in previous years, the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix will take place on a Saturday instead of Sunday. The 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix moved to a different time slot in response to the holy month of Ramadan, which is also the reason for this change.

In 2023, Formula One was absolutely magnetic, with Max Verstappen and Red Bull taking home the Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships. This sets the stage for the upcoming season. Verstappen won 18 of the 22 races for Red Bull, who had a great performance overall. Red Bull won 21 of the 22 races. As the 2024 Formula One season gets off, Red Bull's dominance will be challenged by three strong teams: Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes.

The 2024 Formula 1 season will be drastically different from previous years, with a record-breaking 24 races scheduled. It all starts with the Bahrain Grand Prix, the first race of what is shaping up to be an exciting and historic Formula 1 season.

F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2023: Where to Watch in India

The upcoming 2023 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix will be accessible for live streaming on various international platforms. In regions where F1TV Pro is accessible, viewers can enjoy the race from multiple camera angles, including an immersive perspective from their favourite driver's cockpit. Furthermore, they have the option to delve into detailed event statistics and access a live feed directly from the race track.

For subscribers to SkySports, a similar array of content awaits. However, in certain countries like the United Kingdom and India, traditional television broadcasting of Formula 1 has been discontinued. Consequently, fans in these regions will need to subscribe to an online streaming service to access comprehensive race coverage. To enhance the viewing experience, the Formula 1 app offers precise timing data, facilitating real-time tracking of the race.

F1 Bahrain Grand Prix: About Bahrain International Circuit

The 5.412 km Bahrain International Circuit has been a major site for motorsports events since its 2004 inception and has also been site for the F1 pre-session test. It was the site of the first-ever Grand Prix in the Middle East in 2004, when Michael Schumacher of Ferrari was unstoppable. In addition to its reputation for thrilling races with plenty of passing opportunities, the track in Bahrain is notoriously difficult for drivers due to elements such as wind, night racing, and extreme temperature swings.

One topic of controversy about the circuit's decision not to penalise drivers who stray off the track is the extensive run-off areas, which are notable features. There have been some complaints, but most people agree that the Bahrain International Circuit is very safe. The track's complexities include the notoriously difficult downhill and off-camber Turn 10 left-hander and the thrilling high-speed run through Turn 12, which gives drivers a real feel for their vehicles' capabilities.
