F1: Kimi Antonelli to Test Mercedes W13 Again Post Belgian Grand Prix

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team will provide 17-year-old Italian driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli with additional testing opportunities in its 2022 car following the Belgian Grand Prix. Antonelli's performance will be closely monitored as the team considers potential replacements for Lewis Hamilton. The young driver, a member of Mercedes’ talent development program, has previously participated in test sessions at Imola, Silverstone, and the Red Bull Ring. The upcoming test at Spa-Francorchamps will offer valuable experience in a near-contemporary Formula 1 car, a crucial component of his development given the restricted testing regulations. Antonelli has demonstrated significant progress in Formula 2, securing recent sprint and feature race victories after a challenging start to his rookie season. He currently occupies sixth place in the championship standings.
