Oscar Piastri has stunned the Formula 1 community by revealing that he raced with a fractured rib, an injury he sustained around the time of the British Grand Prix. This revelation adds a new layer of admiration for his remarkable performances, including his maiden F1 victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Piastri's resilience and skill have further cemented his reputation as a rising star in the sport. Piastri has quickly become a formidable challenger to reigning World Champion Max Verstappen and Constructors' Champions Red Bull Racing. Over the 14 races this season, Piastri has secured four podium finishes, including his breakthrough victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix, signalling his potential to disrupt the current dominance in Formula 1.

Oscar Piastri’s first Formula 1 win in Hungary became even more impressive after he revealed that he had done it with a fractured rib.
