Red Bull Racing will honour its successful partnership with Honda at the Japanese Grand Prix by debuting a special all-white livery on its cars. Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda will race in the new white livery at the Suzuka Circuit. The livery celebrates the 60th anniversary of Honda's first Formula 1 victory, achieved by Richie Ginther in the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix with the RA272. This unique livery features the RA272’s iconic Japanese flag design, with Honda’s classic "H" logo on the nose and a Honda badge on the rear. It pays tribute to a partnership that started in 2019 and became one of the most successful in Formula 1 history. Red Bull Racing and Honda’s teamwork has led to major wins and established a strong legacy in the sport.

Honda’s engines have been key to Max Verstappen’s four drivers' titles from 2021 to 2024 and Red Bull’s consecutive constructors' titles in 2022 and 2023. As Red Bull prepares for its last race with Honda power, this commemorative livery marks a fitting tribute to a partnership that reshaped success in Formula 1.

Christian Horner, CEO and Team Principal, said: 'Our relationship with Honda deserves celebration, it has been one of continued success and brought the Team one of the most triumphant and dominant periods in our history. Max has won four World titles with a Honda Power Unit, and the Team have lifted two Constructors' titles. In addition, Honda's reliability enabled it to complete the most successful season in the sport's history in 2023. This livery is a tribute to Honda's success in the sport and the final year of what has been a thoroughly enjoyable partnership. I am looking forward to seeing it out on track.'

Koji Watanabe, President of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC), said: 'It is quite moving to see the RA272 tribute livery on the latest Red Bull Racing machine, in the final year of Honda and Red Bull's partnership. Our successful path will continue to shine in the history of F1.'

The 2025 Red Bull Racing white livery at the Japanese Grand Prix pays tribute to Honda, recalling their 2021 Turkish Grand Prix design. While Honda officially left F1 in 2021, their engine partnership with Red Bull continued. The livery honours Honda's F1 legacy and Red Bull's successes with Honda-powered cars.
