The Haas Formula 1 team has formed a technical partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing, the motorsport division of the Japanese car manufacturer. As Haas’s Official Technical Partner, Toyota will share its expertise and resources to benefit both teams. Toyota will contribute its knowledge in design, engineering, and manufacturing, while Haas will provide its commercial advantages and racing experience. They will collaborate on joint testing sessions that include Toyota’s drivers, engineers, and mechanics, giving Toyota insight into the challenges of modern Formula 1 racing. Additionally, Toyota will help Haas with aerodynamic development and the design and production of important carbon fiber parts. Toyota Gazoo Racing is already active in global motorsport, competing in the World Rally Championship, World Endurance Championship, and World Rally-Raid Championship. This partnership is a significant step for both Haas and Toyota, combining their strengths to improve their performance in Formula 1.

Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu said: 'I’m hugely excited that MoneyGram Haas F1 Team and Toyota Gazoo Racing have come together to enter into this technical partnership. To have a world leader in the automotive sector support and work alongside our organisation, while seeking to develop and accelerate their own technical and engineering expertise – it’s simply a partnership with obvious benefits on both sides.

President of Gazoo Racing Company Tomoya Takahashi said: 'We are pleased to announce that MoneyGram Haas F1 Team and Toyota Gazoo Racing have concluded a basic agreement to enter a technical partnership such as Haas vehicle development. We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Gene Haas, Mr. Ayao Komatsu, Mr. Stefano Domenicali (CEO – Formula 1), Mr. Fred Vasseur (Team Principal – Scuderia Ferrari), and all our existing partners of the team for their exceptional cooperation and understanding in this collaboration.
