Mahindra Racing has unveiled its new livery for the 2025/26 Formula E season, marking its twelfth year in the all-electric championship. The design features metallic red, gloss white, and carbon black, with 12 stripes representing each season of Mahindra’s participation in Formula E. The Indian flag appears on the bodywork, underlining Mahindra’s position as the only Indian manufacturer in a world championship. The update reflects the team’s evolving identity and its continued work towards efficiency and progress in electric motorsport. As the new season approaches, Mahindra aims to build on past experience and align its technical efforts with Formula E’s next phase of development and sustainability goals.
The new livery follows a season of progress for Mahindra Racing. Under CEO and Team Principal Frederic Bertrand, the team focused on improving its Gen3 Evo car and enhancing reliability. In Season 11, Mahindra scored five podiums across Monaco, Jakarta, Berlin, and London. The team finished fourth in the Teams’ Championship, tripling its points from the previous season. The results confirmed steady competitive growth and highlighted improvements in development and execution.
Mahindra has confirmed the return of Nyck de Vries and Edoardo Mortara as its driver pairing for Season 12. Both have experience in Formula E and bring consistency to the programme. Their continued presence supports Mahindra’s technical direction and testing work. Indian driver Kush Maini remains the reserve driver, contributing to development and rookie testing duties across the season.
Mahindra has set a target of entering the top three in the Teams’ Championship. The new M12Electro car features updated hardware and refined systems designed to improve efficiency. The team looks to build consistency and competitiveness while preparing for the Gen4 phase. Strong collaboration between engineering and track operations remains central to achieving its performance targets.
Off-track, Mahindra Racing has added new technical and commercial partnerships. Valvoline joins as an Official Partner, offering eFluid and gearbox technology support. Pre-season testing begins in late October at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, as Mahindra begins final preparation for Season 12 with a goal of translating its developments into consistent results.
