ISRL Season 2 rider auction sees record Rs 6 crore bids, global stars, and rising Indian talent; races set for Pune, Hyderabad, and Kerala from October to December 2025.

The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) is gearing up for an exciting Season 2 after a successful rider auction that drew attention from the global motorsport community. Over 155 riders from nations including France, the USA, Australia, Indonesia, and Japan registered for the event, reflecting the league’s expanding global presence. Franchises collectively invested a record Rs 6 crore, highlighting the faith in the league and its efforts to nurture Indian talent.
Veer Patel, Director - Indian Supercross Racing League, said: 'ISRL is not just building a racing league, we are creating a new sports economy for India where athletes, teams, brands, and fans all converge. The Season 2 auction has shown the world that India is ready to back motorsport at scale, and this is just the beginning of our global journey.'

The auction night was full of intense bidding. International rider Kyle Peters took the top spot with a bid of Rs 20.7 lakh, while India’s own Rugved Barguje secured a strong Rs 9.5 lakh bid, the highest ever for an Indian in the league. Young riders also made headlines, including 16-year-old Australian Jack Nunn, who signed for the 250cc category, marking a promising step for the next generation of racers.

Season 2 will feature six competitive franchises, including Reise TorqRacers, Tricolor Motorsports, and new entrant Indewheelers Motorsports. Indewheelers signed French riders Greg Arenda and Maxime Desprey, while Tricolor Motorsports brought in Adrien Malaval and Paul Haberland for the 450cc class, setting up strong battles for the upcoming season.

The league has announced a three-city tour for its second season, with events set to thrill fans in Pune, Hyderabad, and Kerala between October and December 2025. Each venue will host two days of racing, with practice sessions, qualifying heats, and main races. Off the track, attractions like the Reise Moto Fan Park will add more excitement for spectators.
