KTM has confirmed a major tie-up with the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) ahead of its second season, taking over naming rights for the Tricolor Motorsports franchise. The outfit will now run under the KTM banner, giving the Austrian manufacturer direct exposure in India’s developing supercross scene. For ISRL, the agreement marks an important step in drawing international involvement, while for KTM it opens a clear route to engage with India’s motorsport fanbase.
The KTM branding will now feature across ISRL Season 2 activities, from race weekends and promotional campaigns to fan engagement efforts. Linking its global off-road racing profile to India’s first professional supercross series allows KTM to extend its motorsport footprint in a category where it already enjoys established success worldwide.

For Tricolor Motorsports, the change is more than cosmetic. Backing from KTM brings technical input, financial support, and increased recognition, all of which are vital as competition levels rise. The KTM name also improves the team’s ability to attract commercial partners and provides riders with opportunities to work with higher standards of preparation. Such resources will be key as the league looks to build long-term stability.
Since its launch in 2023, ISRL has been the first structured platform for professional supercross in India. The series has drawn participation from domestic and international riders while gradually expanding its calendar and reach. Partnerships such as this KTM deal highlight the organisers’ intent to build value through credible, long-term collaborations that benefit riders, teams, brands, and fans alike.
The KTM-Tricolor Motorsports agreement also reflects the changing shape of Indian motorsport. While rallying and circuit racing remain established, supercross is emerging as a format capable of drawing younger audiences.
