The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO has been revealed in Italy.

The motorsports division of Lamborghini – Squadra Corse has announced a new partnership with luxury Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis with the reveal of the new Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO at an exclusive event in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.

The new Huracan Super Trofeo EVO gets entirely redesigned aerodynamics compared to the previous model. The new aero now produces the same amount of downforce while it now allows for higher overall aerodynamic efficiency resulting in less resistance and improved stability. With the new body kit, the new Huracan Super Trofeo EVO shaved off 1.5 seconds of its lap time at Monza.

The new body kit has been developed by Squadra Corse engineers with help from Dallara Engineering and Lamborghini Centro Stile. The design team from Lamborghini Centro Stile have also designed the livery of the new Huracán Super Trofeo EVO for the partnership between the Italian supercar manufacturer and the Swiss watchmaker which will officially commence in 2018.

In Europe and Asia, the new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO is priced at €235,000, while people in American will have to shell out $295,000.

The Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO will make its official track debut in the spring of 2018 in three continental series of Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Europe, Asia and North America. The series will see the entire lineup of cars with EVO configuration. Teams in the series who are racing the current version of the car will be able to purchase the aerodynamic body kit to upgrade the car to new specifications.

The Huracan Super Trofeo EVO is powered by a naturally-aspirated, 620hp, 5.2-litre V10 which powers the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox and is limited to a top speed of 280kmph.
