Mahindra Racing secured a podium at the Formula E Jeddah double-header, with Edoardo Mortara finishing second in one of the races and adding further points across the weekend. The result keeps the Indian team in the mix early in the season and adds ground in the teams’ standings after the latest rounds. Mortara showed pace through qualifying and started from the front during the weekend, converting that track position into a top-two finish and a steady points haul for the team in Saudi Arabia.

Mortara delivered a measured drive across both races and stayed with the lead group through the key phases. The podium ensured Mahindra Racing remained among the teams scoring at the front in Jeddah. The finish moves the team higher in the order and keeps it in contention with the leading entries after the opening rounds. Mahindra ran near the front across sessions during the double-header and turned that pace into points when it mattered.
The Jeddah event placed Mahindra Racing against Porsche, Jaguar and Nissan across two races on the same circuit. Mortara’s result ensured the team left the weekend with a strong return and a place in the early championship fight. The team recorded front-row starts during qualifying and converted one of those into a second-place finish. The points collected across both races give Mahindra a base as the season moves to the next round. After the Jeddha Round, Mahindra is currently at P4 in the constructor championship.

Across the rest of the field, the double-header produced two different winners. Pascal Wehrlein secured victory in one race after starting from pole position and added points in the drivers’ standings. Antonio Felix da Costa won the other race and delivered further points for Porsche across the weekend. The outcomes shifted the order in both championships after the Jeddah rounds.

Other teams also collected points as drivers managed energy and track position on the street circuit. Positions changed through the races, with moves taking place in the closing laps of each round. The Jeddah double-header now feeds into the next event on the Formula E calendar, with the standings in both championships starting to take shape after the early phase of the season.
