Marc Marquez delivered a strong performance at the 2025 Aragon MotoGP, topping every session for the first time since the 2015 Sachsenring. The factory Ducati rider repeated his 2024 Aragon victory and extended his lead in the MotoGP championship standings. His win also ended a run of five different winners in five races. Alex Marquez followed closely behind, securing second place after holding off pressure from Francesco Bagnaia and KTM’s Pedro Acosta. It was Alex’s first podium since the 2025 COTA race. Meanwhile, factory Ducati rider Bagnaia claimed third, returning to the podium for the first time since Jerez and showing clear improvement after early-season struggles.

KTM’s Pedro Acosta was the only rider to run a hard front tyre and showed impressive race pace. He battled hard with Bagnaia before settling for fourth place. Teammate Brad Binder, however, crashed at Turn 3, ending KTM’s hopes of a double top-five finish at Aragon.

Rookie Fermin Aldeguer and VR46's Franco Morbidelli fought an intense battle for fifth on the back straight, entertaining fans with clean but aggressive racing. HRC's Joan Mir recorded his best finish since the 2023 Indonesia MotoGP. Maverick Vinales of Tech3 KTM crashed while chasing Mir, while Marco Bezzecchi climbed from P20 to finish eighth—one of the biggest movers of the race.

Several riders missed the Aragon Grand Prix due to injuries. Luca Marini (HRC) was out after a crash during Superbike testing at Suzuka. Ai Ogura (rookie) is still recovering from injuries at Silverstone. Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernandez joined as a wild-card, and Aprilia’s Lorenzo Savadori replaced the injured 2024 champion Jorge Martin, showing how MotoGP injuries are affecting the 2025 grid.
