MotoGP 2026 has started on a strong note, and honestly, it didn’t take long for things to get interesting. We’ve already seen a few surprises in the opening round, and now the paddock heads to Brazil for Round 2. This one feels special because MotoGP is back in Brazil after more than 20 years. Goiania replaces Argentina on the calendar, making it the only South American stop this season, and it brings a completely new challenge for everyone. The Goiania circuit looks short, but not easy. It is just 3.835km long with 14 corners, so there is not much room to relax. The layout mixes short straights with technical sections, which usually means close racing and mistakes if you get it wrong. Since most riders haven’t raced here before, expect a bit of chaos as they try to figure out the track through the weekend.

Thailand already gave us a clear hint of how this season might go. Aprilia came out flying, with Marco Bezzecchi taking the race win. KTM was right there too, with Pedro Acosta winning the Sprint and grabbing the early points lead. Ducati, though, had a weekend to forget. Marc Marquez retired with a tyre issue, and Francesco Bagnaia could only manage P9. After that, you have to wonder if Brazil is where Ducati hits back.
