The 2027 MotoGP rider market may have its first major storyline already taking shape, with Fabio Quartararo reportedly switching to Honda from Yamaha. With new regulations on the horizon, teams are quietly making long-term moves, and Quartararo’s name has now moved to the centre of that conversation. The French rider has spent his entire premier-class career with Yamaha, but recent seasons have raised questions about where his future truly lies. As Honda prepares for a full reset ahead of the next technical era, the possibility of pairing a World Champion with a new project is starting to make sense.
