Gresini Ducati unveiled its 2026 MotoGP bike, giving the paddock the look at the team’s colours for the new season. Riders and senior team members were present as Gresini laid down a marker ahead of the opening races. The livery remains closely aligned with what Gresini has used since joining forces with Ducati. The familiar blue and black colours return, reinforcing the identity the team has established on the grid. There are no major visual changes, and that sense of continuity mirrors the approach taken inside the garage, where stability is clearly valued going into 2026.

The standout development is Alex Marquez receiving a full factory-spec Ducati Desmosedici GP26 for the season. Ducati has increased the number of GP26 bikes available, putting the younger Marquez on the same specification as the factory riders. It marks the first time he starts a MotoGP season with full factory machinery at his disposal.

That upgrade reflects Marquez’s performances over recent years and the confidence Ducati now places in him. With four GP26 bikes across the grid, Gresini Ducati moves into a stronger technical position within the wider Ducati structure. Marquez remains under contract through 2026, and this season feels important in defining his next step in the championship.

Team-mate Fermin Aldeguer was not present at the launch after suffering a leg injury during training. He remains part of the Gresini line-up and is expected to return once fully fit. With both riders entering the final year of their contracts, the season carries added significance as performances begin to shape future opportunities.
