MotoGP Italian GP: Francesco Bagnaia wins his third straight MotoGP race in Mugello, beating off Jorge Martin in a close finish. Bagnaia got off to a great start, but Jack Miller quickly passed him and moved up to first place. The current world champion, though, had an answer waiting for him around the second curve. Marc Marquez of Honda and Alex Marquez of Gresini Ducati fell to fifth, while Brad Binder of KTM moved up to eighth, ahead of Enea Bastianini of Ducati and Aleix Espargaro of Aprilia, while Johann Zarco of Pramac fell out of the top ten. He made gradual progress behind Bagnaia and Martin, who shortly passed Miller and cleared the way. The Australian then had to defend himself against Marini, M Marquez, A Marquez, and Binder. At Turn 1, Alex Marquez executed a daring pass between Marc Marquez and Miller. However, he missed the mark and barely touched Miller, allowing Marini and Marc Marquez to finish third and fourth.

After losing momentum on Lap 1, both Binder and Miller began to drop positions, and Alex Marquez passed Zarco for seventh. Marquez crashed in the penultimate curve when he set up a move on Marini, but the Repsol Honda rider was out quite wide before losing the front-end. Yellow flags were raised in sector three after Miguel Oliveira crashed, but the margin between Bagnaia and Martin stayed unchanged at 0.5 seconds.

MotoGP Italian GP: Ducati Dominates in Mugello

Bagnaia, riding the factory Ducati GP23, began the race from pole position after winning the MotoGP World Championship, but he was forced to work hard by a rotation of his satellite stablemates in what turned out to be another sometimes frenetic Sprint to the flag. Being the manufacturer's home event, expectations were high for a top showing this weekend. So far this weekend, they seem to have considerably surpassed everyone's expectations. In today's MotoGP sprint, the manufacturer's superiority was on full display, and the fans took notice.

Pecco Bagnaia, a factory rider for Ducati, had a fantastic season up to that point. This weekend's sprint was another one in which he placed well, continuing a recent trend. The Italian rider ultimately came out on top in the Sprint race, ahead of four other Ducati-powered motorcycles.

At the Mugello MotoGP sprint, Pecco Bagnaia took first place while Marco Bezzecchi came in second. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin finished in third place. Both Johann Zarco and Luca Marini rode Ducati motorcycles and finished in the top two positions
