Raul Fernandez achieved his first MotoGP victory at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix, handing Trackhouse Racing its maiden premier-class win at Phillip Island. The Spanish rider capitalised on Marco Bezzecchi’s early penalty to take command, maintaining control throughout the race. The result marked a major milestone for both Fernandez and the American-owned Aprilia satellite team, reaffirming their growing presence in the MotoGP field. Fernandez’s triumph made him the latest rider to join this season’s list of new winners, underscoring the changing dynamics within the championship.

Home rider Jack Miller fell early after a front row start, and pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo faded to 11th. The outcome reshaped the standings and tightened competition among new-generation riders.
